Navigate to hkey local machine >System>Current Control Set>Control>Storage And set the value to 0

Taking too long
Depends on how much data. Backing up in my case takes 4-5 hrs, especially when I set the transfer to verify, so it compares files for accuracy.

what system.a hard drive has no graphics.its just a brick of spinning memory media.tell the helper what system you have exactly with model name and numbers.LACEI what.?what id you plug it into. MAC, PC? Linux ,what? be specific.please. (and better answers arrive for free)
Makes beeping sound
i crush all beeping HDD.if in fact it does, by self, it should not.state full partnumber of this product.and what is was plugged into,, hard drives fit, vast things.
Keyboard keeps locking up
Make sure all power and data usb connections have dust freesecure seatings.Gather your supplies. There are commercial kits available, but a can of compressedair, a lint-free cloth or wipes, mild dishwashing liquid, and a vacuum cleanerwith a soft brush are all you really need for a basic cleaning. After turning off your computer and unplugging yourkeyboard, gently shake the keyboard upside down over some newspaper to dislodgeloose crumbs and particles. Use the can of compressed air to blow a stream of airbetween the keys.
Repeat Step 2. Dampen a lint-free cloth with a diluted solution ofdishwashing liquid and water to wipe down the keys. Use the vacuum cleaner brush attachment to suck away anyremaining dirt or debris.
