power off the machine and take toner bottle out. Then turn the machine without the toner bottle. let it run it should ask for the toner bottle to be replaced. Please wait is the machine is conducting house chores prior to READY TO COPY. one is to ensure toner in the developer unit is properly mixed. Also might check. Try to reset by Switch On Main Power switch by holding Utility Button for 10-15 second.

Troublereset Option will appear

switch off again and on in normal way.

Sir/Mam Have you had the developer and drum replaced recently, or does the screen say Replace PC Drum? There are certain house chores the copier does before "Ready to Copy" it is waiting for them to get done, so that equals "Please Wait". One big item is making sure the developer and toner are properly mixed inside the image unit underneath the drum or next to it depending on the series. Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure/Developer Charge, and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST? IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8/Developer Charge. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run. Or you will start all over again with new developer and a new drum.

If the code comes back do not reset, you are messing with the Fuser the Hot part. Continuing to reset without a technician looking at and or replacing it, the fuser can catch on fire and that would ruin a perfectly good day.

Turn ON the power switch with the Back/Stop/Reset key held down.

Press "STOP" button on control panel and then the machine ON, keep the button pressed until you see the default or main menu on screen, then release the button and your machine is ready.

remove the network cable, right next to the network connection is a cover remove it. there is a small black button, using a pen push it then watch the control panel it will goes thought certain screen watch for one with a small . in the center on the left side when you see it press the "3". let it go to the code. Then press the counter switch, will see a new icon "Maintenance Mode" press it the press trouble reset. let the machine go though screen again this time let it go to ready to copy if the code come back replace the fuser unit the HOT part, do not reset again you messing with the fuser which can catch on fire, that will ruin a perfectly good day
