my TV remote broked and i want to know how can i change Emerson EWF2004to video without the remote so i can watch movies

I own a ONE-FOR-ALL universal remote and my booklet says the setup codes for Emerson TV/DVD combos are 0675 or 1268.

Hi, I brought a EmersonTV model EWF2004 without a remote control and I can't find the AV channel to watch DVD's I hope you can help me

Done - channel scan put the TV back in the correct mode

go into the menu & add that channel back on
somehow you deleted it
go to menu channel add/delete

simple un-plug the tv for about 30 secs. that should reset the memory on the tv. i had that problem and that is what i did and it worked however if it does not then you need to clean the button other wise send it for a repair or buy a new one

Need the remote to go to the aux. The number for parts and service is on the back

According to my information this TV does not have any published universal codes as of yet. A call to the manufacturer results in:

" Just use the remote that came with the TV...it's too new to have the codes yet"

Not very helpful are they? IT's a nice Tv for the $$..guess customer support is sacrificed when we try to save some $$.

your going to have to get a mid priced universal with extended features. read the packaging. thrift stores sometimes have a bag wall with old remotes so if you have someone who goes to the thrift store sometimes tell them to start looking for either a vcr or tv remote that says emerson on it for you. directv and dish network universals have video input buttons, if you have eith of those providers go to their website, download or find the chapter where it shows how to set up your viseo input. it is shut off by default..
