Oven heats to 200 and indicator dings
Try to set it at 500 degrees and see if it goes off at 350. If it does, then it probably needs calibrating. You can calibrate it by taking the knob off and finding a set screw in the stem where the knob sits. If this is not the problem, you may have to replace the thermostat. By the way, check to see if your temperature probe is not touching the wall of the oven. It will give it a false reading. Let me know if any of these things work and we will go from there.

Stopping the self-clean function after starting in erro
You don't have a cancel clean button on it? If not, you may have a reset button in the back of the oven. Otherwise, you may have to let it "run the cycle". Hopefully, you don't have wooden/plastic handles on your frying pans.

Oven door glass repair
Get a tech to do this. You will end up breaking the replacement glass if you are not careful. It is too hard to explain to replace the glass by not seeing what you are doing.

Electric oven not working
You have a dead short if it trips the breaker right away. You have wiring that has or is touching the metal or frame.

Oven will not work on my whirlpool rde350pw1
Sounding like the element is bad for the oven. Can you ohm it out? If that checks okay then it is diffidently the knob to turn on the oven. The switch is bad and needs to be replaced.

Burner is out in rm 278pxl-2 single electric oven how hard is it
You might need to replace the burner. Lift up the top cover and inspect the burner in question. If you have a ohm meter check out the burner. If it is good then you need a new control knob. Located on the front of unit. I hope it is a burner they are only 10 bucks if it is the switch they about 30 bucks.

Whirlpool oven
You have to get the tension off of the hinge and it will drop right in. The spring loaded arm on the door needs to be drawn back until you can (depending on the style) either lock the u-arm into the notch on the other side of the hinge, or put a small bolt through the aligning holes in the side of the hinge. Once you get the arm straightened out a bit and relieve the spring pressure, you should be able to sit it right in there. Be careful though, that spring is strong

Door locked and screen is dead after Auto Clean
Gracias, sounds like your thermal cut out opened in the back. Part number 4451442. It's a small thermal fuse that can open during cleaning killing power to the oven. It's located in the back of the oven. Two wires going to it, orange and red according to the diagram. Cost is around 39.00. You can ohm it out, should show continuity. You can do the job yourself. Look the part up on the net so you know what you are going after. Or just let the repair service you think you know what is wrong and have them give you an estimate..Catriver..post back.

I have a Whirlpool Oven
ok wht you have to do is grab the hinge with pliers or your hand and fold the hinge to the open position, carefull this hinge has some pressure to it and you dont want to pinch your skin ,once the hinge is open, you want to take a screw or strong nail and stick it thru the hole that is between the top of the hinge and bottom in the center put the nail thru the hole and let the hinge close slow i,it will hold the hinge 3/4 open, now hook the door on it will be 3/4 open once you feel it latch on the door open the door all the way pull the nails out and close the door ,it takes a little practice but youll get it remember to use the nail to hold the hinge open, youll see the hole on the hinge

Cleaned the door but can't get back in
It may take two people but if you pull the hinge open there should be a small hole in it. It should of had some pins in the bag if you got it new. If you don't have them find some short pins, screws or nails that will hold the hige open so you can reinstall it. Once you get the door back on you should be able to open it all the way and take the pins out.
