Oven door not shutting fully
Make sure there is nothing trapped at the bottom of the door to prevent it closing properly.
If nothing obviously wrong, then you will probably need to replace both oven door hinges as the door springs are probably weak.
A common problem with this type of oven with a drop down door.

My Whirlpool oven stopped heating. The control
There is a thermal fuse mounted on the back of the oven that feeds power to both elements. This fuse has open up. The control panel gets power via a different path and still lights up.

Schematics for whirlpool RB260PXB
I have a Whirlpool 30" oven. I've noticed that it seems to be taaking longer to cook the food, so I purchased a cooking thermometer. It appears that the temperature reading on the oven display is lower than the internal readin gon the purchased oven thermometer (275 vs setting of 350). Is this most likely a bad heat sensor or could it be the bake element?

When I press bake and start it beeps and gives me
F1 touch pad / ERC test
This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.
Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).
Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.
1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

My oven is showing E1 F2, when I'm cooking
E1-F2
Keypad cable unplugged
1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

I have an electric whirlpool
Usually when the control panel quits working it is either the touch pad or the control board.
The touch pad is about $295 and the part number is 831540
The control board is about $190. the part number for it is 961211
I would suggest calling a repairman to verify which of the two parts it is.

I just replaced the touch screen glass board and received E1 F2
F2-E1 - Touch Pad (Keypad) Cable Unplugged -
Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.
It appears your timer/clock has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.
Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.(((())))
