Water Filter Leaks
Since you weren't very specific where it leaks or when it started (like after a filter change) it could be tough to troubleshoot this leak.
If it is leaking at the faucet connection try tightening up where it screws onto the faucet. Depending on your strength (or lack of) you may need to use pliers to get a tight connection. Don't go crazy tight or it will crack the plastic fitting. If it still leaks remove the unit from the faucet and check the rubber washer inside where it screws onto the faucet. Make sure it's still there and is centered inside the cup and seated properly. Then reattach the unit to the faucet and tighten it well.
If it's leaking from the main body try removing the filter and reinstalling it making sure you have seated the filter properly and screwed on the cover correctly, and all the way. When it is tight the water outlet will be exactly at the bottom of the unit. Sometimes it's tricky getting it tight enough especially with wet hands.
Finally, if the leak is coming from the filter on/off selector this could be tough to fix. I would try firmly pushing and pulling the selector knob in and out several times while in both the on and off positions. This may re-seat the leaking seal. I wouldn't be too hopeful about this fix though. You may need to replace the unit if this part is leaking.

The main problems I'm seeing on these posts for this filter are design and operater issues. 1. I never run hot water through the unit in filter mode. 2. I never run cold water through the filter turned on high (pressure issues arise), it doesn't filter the water any faster. You just want enough flow to run through the filter. 3. The steel sleeve was a good solution (again pressure) but came up alittle short (ie my epoxy fix). 4. The light is powered by a chip batterey that is unreplaceable and may be bad. Try reinstalling the cartridge. I personally pay no attention to the lights other than a clue. I change my filter when the taste changes or there becomes a flow issue. 5.There are filter screens prior the filter that can become clogged if you live in a poor water area. 6. The filtered water only comes out of the spigot and no other leaks (something loose or pressure issue).

I've had the same problem with my 9600. Leaked no matter what I tried. The best thing to do is contact Pur at this address and explain your problem.
