Turbo chef heats up but menu won't come on
If your TurboChef oven is heating up but the menu or display is not coming on, it indicates a possible issue with the control panel or display module. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to address the problem:
- Power cycle the oven: Turn off the power to the oven by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the unit. Leave it powered off for a few minutes, then plug it back in or turn the power back on. This can help reset the electronics and may resolve temporary glitches.
- Check the power supply: Ensure that the oven is receiving a stable power supply. Verify that the outlet is working correctly by plugging in another device. If the outlet is functioning properly, check the power cord and connections for any damage or loose connections.
- Inspect the control panel and display module: Check for any visible signs of damage, loose connections, or corrosion on the control panel and display module. If there are any issues, it may require professional servicing or replacement of the affected components.
- Perform a factory reset: Consult the user manual or contact TurboChef support to find out if there is a way to perform a factory reset on the oven. This can reset the settings and potentially resolve software-related issues.

I have a De Dietrich oven (Doc 760 x1) and removed touch screen face plate with sensor buttons, cleaned and replaced, 'buttons' no longer work.
Based on the information provided, it is possible that the touch screen face plate with sensor buttons was not properly reconnected to the receptor behind it. It is also possible that the sensor buttons were damaged during the cleaning process.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try disconnecting and reconnecting the touch screen face plate to ensure a secure connection. If this does not work, you may need to replace the sensor buttons or seek professional assistance.
It is important to note that attempting to repair or troubleshoot electrical appliances can be dangerous and should only be done by trained professionals.

RM Toledo 110 Fan oven, heats up cuts out. clock also goes off, but dosnet trip the electricity. toggle mains switch set clock and works again, for another ten minutes or so?. the cycle repeats.
The issue you described with your RM Toledo 110 Fan oven can be caused by a few potential factors. Here are some possible explanations and troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Overheating or thermal cut-out: If the oven heats up and then cuts out after a short period, it's possible that the oven is overheating and triggering a thermal cut-out safety feature. This could be due to a faulty thermostat or an issue with the oven's ventilation. Check if the oven's vents are clear and not blocked by any obstructions. Additionally, you may need to have the thermostat checked and replaced if it's not functioning correctly.
- Electrical connection issue: It's possible that there's an electrical connection problem causing the oven and clock to intermittently lose power. Inspect the power cord and plug for any damage or loose connections. Ensure that the oven is securely plugged into a stable power outlet. If the issue persists, it may require the attention of a professional electrician to investigate and repair any underlying wiring issues.
- Control panel malfunction: A malfunctioning control panel or circuit board could cause the oven and clock to intermittently lose power. This could be due to a faulty component or a loose connection. Contact the manufacturer's support or a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the control panel if needed.
- Power supply fluctuations: In some cases, unstable or fluctuating power supply can cause appliances to behave erratically. If you notice other devices or appliances experiencing similar issues in your home, it may be worth contacting your electricity provider to investigate and resolve any power supply issues.
Given the potential safety risks involved with oven repairs and electrical troubleshooting, it's advisable to seek assistance from a qualified technician or contact the manufacturer's support for further guidance. They will have the expertise and knowledge to diagnose the specific problem with your RM Toledo 110 Fan oven and recommend appropriate solutions

I have a Newhome DF500DIT Oven/Cooktop and it won't turn on.
If your Newhome DF500DIT Oven/Cooktop is not turning on, there are a few possible reasons and troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Power Supply: Check if the oven/cooktop is receiving power. Ensure it is plugged into a functioning power outlet and that there is power to that outlet. You can try plugging in another device to verify if the outlet is working properly.
- Circuit Breaker: Check the circuit breaker or fuse box to see if the circuit that supplies power to the oven/cooktop has tripped or if a fuse has blown. If so, reset the breaker or replace the fuse.
- Control Settings: Ensure that the oven/cooktop controls are set correctly. Check that the knobs or buttons are in the proper position for turning on the appliance. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on operating the oven/cooktop.
- Safety Features: Some ovens/cooktops have safety features that may prevent them from turning on if certain conditions are not met. Make sure that all doors, lids, or safety switches are properly closed or engaged.
- Timer Function: If your oven/cooktop has a timer function, check if it has been set or if there is a delay start feature that may be causing a delay in turning on.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the oven/cooktop still does not turn on, it may be best to contact the manufacturer's customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance. They can provide you with specific guidance and help diagnose and resolve any technical issues with your Newhome DF500DIT Oven/Cooktop.
