E2 -F3-

The F3 E2 error code indicates that the electronic oven control board in the range senses an over-temperature condition in the oven.

This can be caused by a failed temperature sensor probe, a wiring problem between the sensor and the control board, or a failed electronic oven control board.
If the oven is apparently not overheating when this error code appears, then your likely failure is the temperature sensor probe.
If the oven is overheating, then you likely have a failed electronic oven control board due to a stuck relay not cycling the oven heating element off properly.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Display shows E0 F2 after pressing start and

Hi, this error code indicates a shorted key on the touch pad.

1. Check keypad connector for firm connection also clean with a pencil eraser (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

I you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Mike

My whirlpool electric range is in a very "roach infested house." Could they have made my oven fail and beep all day?

Yes they could. You need an exterminator to get rid of them. They are filthy creatures and you should not be cooking in there.

Why would a Whirlpool range Model # W10432689A come on by itself and the digital numbered area come on also, go off, and a clock appear there?

Check the power input wiring to be sure it's good (no loose or burned connections or corrosion). However, this is most likely a controller board failure. It may be a bad electrolytic capacitor on the controller board, but I've seen a couple with intermittent faults like this that are impractical to diagnose without internal service documentation. That isn't given to field service techs; they're just told to change the controller module.

Whirlpool gas range diagnostic code E6 46 (cannot find this error code combination anywhere)

E6 46 is a diagnostic code for a Whirlpool gas range. This code indicates that there is a problem with the oven temperature sensor. The sensor measures the temperature inside the oven and sends this information to the control board. If the control board detects a problem with the sensor, it will display the E6 46 error code. To troubleshoot the problem, you'll want to do the following:
  1. Check the wiring: Make sure that all of the wires connected to the oven temperature sensor are secure and not damaged.
  2. Check the sensor: The oven temperature sensor is located in the back of the oven, near the top. Make sure that the sensor is properly seated in its socket and that it is not damaged.
  3. Check the control board: If the wiring and sensor appear to be in good condition, the control board may be the cause of the problem. You'll want to check the control board for any visible damage or loose connections.
If you are unable to find the problem, I recommend having a qualified repair technician diagnose and fix the issue for you. Electrical issues can be complex and it's important to address them promptly to prevent further damage.

What is F9 code for whirlpool stove

The F9 error code on a Whirlpool stove typically indicates a problem with the oven temperature sensor. The oven temperature sensor is a device that measures the temperature inside the oven and sends this information to the control board. If the sensor is not functioning properly, it can cause the control board to display the F9 error code.

To troubleshoot the problem, you can try the following steps:

Check the oven temperature sensor: Make sure the sensor is securely connected to the control board and not damaged. You can also check the resistance of the sensor using a multimeter to see if it is within the specified range.

Check the wiring: Make sure all the wiring for the oven temperature sensor is securely connected and not damaged. Check for any frayed or damaged wires, and repair or replace them as needed.

Check the control board: If the oven temperature sensor and wiring are in good condition, the problem may be with the control board. You can try resetting the control board by unplugging the stove and waiting a few minutes before plugging it back in.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to take the stove to a professional appliance repair shop for further evaluation and repair. They will be able to diagnose the problem and recommend the necessary repairs.

Display gone blank, stove top works, no way to turn on oven, no lights or indicators illuminating? Hoping for a fuse, not control panel replacement

The fuse is your breaker. There may be a fuse hiding under the control board display but unlikely. It is likely to be the control panel itself. I would suggest dealer service as they are expensive, need correct diagnosis and warranty on the part and the replacement labour.

Whirlpool range SF362LXSS0 replaced both igniters and still oven won't turn on

All Gas Ovens can be fixed, but the should be serviced by a registered gas technician. The spark igniter is only one part of the lighting procedure, they also have a thermocouple, which is a safety device that open the main gas valve once certainly criteria are met usually a pilot light flame. The parts schematic shows the gas valve and it is $181. I don't see a safety thermocouple. https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/2v56d5n3jv-001198/whirlpool-sf362lxss0-gas-range-parts This is the part that is likely to have failed, but I am reluctant to suggest you change it on my say so. Pay the extra $75 for a qualified technician to diagnose and replace. It has electrical contacts, so the fail safe is probably inside and is dependent on the spark igniter being fully functional. https://www.searspartsdirect.com/product/5w6dsrlw7b-0022-664/id-9761959 ..

Whirlpool gas stove burner knob is loose

You should be able to pull the knob straight out. Don't lose the internal sleeve. Here is a quick DIY video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSChe0uwRvA Or you can put some Loctite glue in the cracks on both sides before you tighten the zip Just to strenghten this in case it gets bumped again.
