To turn the Silent Mode OFF for your handset to ring, press and hold the # key on your handset for about 10 seconds. Your handset will beep and this will indicate that the Silent Mode has been turned OFF.

you said voicemail, which is a service from the telephone provider. Typically, you dial your own number and follow the prompts. Contact your service provider if this does not work. It is NOT the phone.

Choose from four ringer volume settings (off, low, medium, and high). With the phone in standby, press or UP or DOWN symbols . The display shows the current volume level and the handset sounds the ringer at that level. Use UP to make the ringer volume louder or DOWN symbol to make it softer or turn it completely off.

Hi anonymous, ;) You can try to reset the phone by disconecting the battery.. Rconnect and place it on the receiving unit to reconnect it to the network

Remove the power cell, let it sit a few minutes and reinstall the battery. That should clear the memory. If not; contact the manufacture for assistance.,

Which specific Uniden phone do you have? For most of their phones, press and hold the # key (below the 9). If the phone is in Silent Mode, it will exit that mode. If you aren't in Silent Mode, you will see a prompt asking how long to maintain the Silent Mode. Pressing a number will set the number of hours without the phone ringing. If no buttons are pressed, the phone will enter the Always On Silent mode after about 5 seconds. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

There is no special set-up required. The phones should be compatible with one another; i.e., designed to work together. There is a small button on either phone that establishes the intercom link when pressed. Look at the instruction and they will show you which button to press. It's easy, you can even find it by trial and error quick enough.
