if the lcd become white screen but the phone is working it means the flex cable of your phone is damage and need to replace, but if the phone not work with white screen your phone is in need to reprogam.go to cellphone repair shop.

Have you replaced the battery? I do know that some of these phones have weak solder joint connections that lead to usb. I would first try new battery and see how that goes. If problem persist I would definately get another phone. Not self repairable, Lots of problems with Z710s

i dont think the batery was affected, but if it was, you also need to throw it way and get a new battery.
