In order to separated the flip door use your fingernail to lift the top of the lens and pull it away from the phone and to put it into place just Insert the tab at the bottom of the new lens into the bottom of the phone flip, then use your thumbs to press along the sides of the lens as you press it into place. you can unlock phone easily but you need to ring them up tell them that you acsidentliy locked your sim and they will post you a new one with the credit you had on it

sounds like you have your gprs set up incorrectly, had a simular problem myself and thats what it was, check with your phone company to check your settings

I talked with Motorola Tech Support. The software for this phone does not have an option to Turn On or Turn Off the display of the "Time" on the External Display.

Motorola suggested to do a Master Reset. I did this and rebooted the phone. This did not fix the problem. So no Time on the Display, but everything else works.

sounds like the phone was set up to ask for a sim password from the old user. Now that you put your card in it wants the password but the phone does not know the card has been switched. Ask your buddy the code to unlock the bios and disable the password. If al lelse fails put his old sim card back in and then disable the password for the sim card. This feature is a security so people cannot access your contact stored on your sim card.
