Details on dual core issue.
You have gone on at length describing your problem, however you have failed to indicate what the Operating System is? I assume it is XP, and prey it is not Vista or Win 7? Or worse a 64bit version of those? Anyway, I sincerely doubt that the fact that the PC is "Dual Core" has anything at all to do with anything? Most likely it has to do with the transport driver layers and the Widcomm Bluetooth drivers almost without a doubt. Bluetooth whilst a great platform, is indeed fraught with problems.. It doesn't even work all that reliably on Cell Phones and Headsets, that it was designed for. Packet loss and corruption invariably is due to outside interference and, depending on Operating System, bad USB handling and interfacing, what with USB & Bluetooth together we always have problems. One way is too mitigate problems is to increase the Output Power of the Transmitter and buffer and error check at the receive end. Again I would try "Other" Bluetooth "Stack" such as say, Bluesoleil or Toshiba's one. This project indeed sounds like a challenge. I also think that one shouldn't be to fixated on things like Dual Core's & P4's and the like, I have never had an issue, such as you describe, with processors, the problem I am sure is elsewhere, use Occams razor.. and do not get side tracked. Good luck, If you were in NZ I would get hands on with you.. could be entertaining challenge to say the least. Good Luck

You have to run recovery on yoru system from the rcovery discs, and if its fails then you have to run test on the harddrivefrom the bios and if you get any error than your harddrive has gone bad.
Sir its battery backup in 2hours but i am not
Hi,
For this issue, you must calibrate the battery.
This will solve the problem.
There are 2 options to calibrate the battery.
Some bios version support this and have this options in it.
To go in bios press DEL button or f2 button.
Second option is run utility from windows.
This option will be best if you are not so accustomed to bios
Normally you have special utility software that came with the batch of drivers.
This are provided as part of support from the manufacturer.
It will take you 4 to 5 hours to complete the process.
While calibrating it will charge and discharge the battery several times.
Try this

Lenovo 3000 Notebooks : N100 Power Failure!
Hi.. I have a temporary solution to your problem. I had the same problem. Remove the battery and the ac adapter from the laptop. Just reconnect the ac adapter without the battery and switch on the lap. Presto.. Problem solved.. It doesnt power off anymore unless u remove the ac adaptor. Usefull if u hav needed files n want 2 create a backup. Still i havent found out a permanent solution to this problem. I suspect its a motherboard fault

I suppose your laptop must still be under warranty, so you could easily get a replacement for the faulty hard drive.
If it is out of warranty, then depending on various factors (budget, warranty) you would have choices. Seagate is a well known brand for hard drives. You may want to check the availability with the Lenovo service center guys too.
I have a Lenovo 300 g400 everytime I press power
most likely its something to do with cpu not being correctly placed causing it to overheat which will make the fan run really fast to try and cool it but if it shuts down then it isnt getting enuf cooling, and if you kept pressing the power button you have destroyed it from the heat

I think that you must be "quick" -- as soon as you see the "prompt", or even slightly anticipating -- press the key.
If it is a BLUE-coloured key, be sure to press both the BLUE-coloured 'FN' key _AND_ the other BLUE-coloured key, at the same time.

When installing Java, use the latest version 6.17 and be sure to close all Internet Browser Windows before proceeding. You may wish to remove all other previous installed Java versions before installation. I would suggest leaving the default install paths chosen by the program.
