if you mean you cant open drive door
there is an emergency hole that you cat put a pin in to open i
if you mean it cant read the cd/dvd try to test with a original cd (silver) if it works, that means your drive need service
if you cant see you cdrom drive icon in my computer

first you have to purchase new battery pack. while doing that you can use your laptop without battery pack. just plug the power adapter into the socket and to your laptop.
And, if the power adapter is plugged in, then still now power, you have to purchase also a power adapter.

restart your computer go to BIOS mode and change the first bootable device as cd-Rom and then save and exit then your system will restart at that time insert your window cd and in the screen it shows boot from cd press any key you need to press any key at that time and it will divert to the setup screen then you need to follow the instruction

go to safe mode and delete the user account or inactivate the pw. if still not successful push the One key recovery, that is the button beside on/off button. (full factory restore. all your files will be gone)

found solution on another web forum it worked.

1. Shutdown your laptop, remove battery and power adapter.
2. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to drain the power.
3. I f still no go, change your battery.

hi! just a tip! you could actually adjust the settings on that so that it wouldnt sleep after 10 minutes. you could adjust the settings of it on the lenovo energy management or on the power management. try to adjust the hibernation on it and the sleeping time as well. hope this helps! goodluck!
