if it smells like fuel and seems to run really rich my bet is on the fuel injection spider is leaking under the plenum. please go back to school and learn how to spell or at least use spell check.

If you hear clicking in the back when you push it then the latch has become bad or loose. If you dont hear clicking in the back then it is an electrical problem.

I have the service manual for the LT-120 which explains how to do that. There are explanations with diagrams, etc. that won't help without your being able to see them.

All you need to know is the ES version of your machine. This is usually printed inside your machine, on the CD player unit or on the record players assembly. Sometimes its printed or stamped into a metal plate by the power lead. It's important you find the correct model and ES version as you can sometimes cause more damage then good!
If you cant find your specific manual try the generic manual for that ES version, this should contain most the stuff you need

By "stuck on android", the entire operating system is android. It is the Google Android operating system.
If the device cannot load up then it may need a factory reset. I am assuming like most android devices it has volume keys. If this is the case, turn the device off. Then, hold down the Volume DOWN button and keep holding it. Then turn the device on (still holding volume down). This will bring you to the recovery screen. From these selection, you can select using volume up and volume down. On that menu or one of the sub menus should be the option to do a data reset (factory reset etc). Select this option.
This will restore the device back to factory settings
WARNING: Doing the following will remove ALL data from the device, and MAY potentially stop the device from working. However, seeing as its not working at the moment anyway, you don't have an awful lot to lose!
Knowledge: HTC Desire owner (rooted) : Restored 10+ times with no errors

HI I HAVE FIXED THE SAME FAULT ON MY SONY SCANNER BUT NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED!. YOU WILL HAVE TO UNSOLDER AND EXTRACT THE CONTROL AS THE TRACK SPRING LEAVES HAVE BECOME WEAK AND ARE NOT TOUCHING THE TRACK PROPERLY.CAREFULLY TAKE APART THE CONTOL CLEAN ANY RESIDUE ON THE TRACK AND CONTACT SPRINGS THEN RE ASSEMBLE AFTER SLIGHTLY BENDING THE CONTACT LEGS TO IMPROVE PRESSURE ON THE TRACK. BEST OF LUCK I HAVE GOT A SPARE WHICH MIGHT FIT YOUR MODEL. CHRIS
