use the codes 520, 115, 916, 027. i just used them for my durabrand 13 in tv. i actually used 520! it works with the phillips magnavox universal remote.

No It is not digital. It is analogue.

Most sets if no input or source button or cycling below channel 2 does not bring it up---you need the original remote.

a manual well help...cuz there are different types of codes for different types of applainces....is that for tv?

Durabrand a private label tradename of Walmart, and is manufactured by Funai. Device codes include: 534, 541, 657, 661, 662, 677, 682, 694.

The code 694 worked for me when I programmed my Dish Network remote.

It depends on how you have your Dish Network box connected. You need to cycle through your Inputs using your input or video source button. If you could tell me how it was connected I could tell you exactly what input to use.

Direct Code Entry

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand

no there isnt u have to get a new remote. The GE remote is cheap and the code is 0157. its the only code for that remote that works properly

The vertical deflection circuit of your tv has a problem.
First, try to replace the vertical ic. This ic can be found near the plyback or horizontal section. It is a linear ic with heatsink.
If nothing happens after replacing the ic, replace all the polarized capacitor near the ic and resolder the components at the vertical section.

some tvs let you just turn it to channel 0 as the video channel. But the remote on most tvs have a button, for example: an input button , a tv/video button. But if not then you have to change it by going to the menu. It will tell you exactly what you need to know in the t.v manuel Hope this helps!! You will have to ccheck the brands of universal remotes available in your spare parts store . If the manual contains the codes for the Durabrand models, you may be available to connect.
