According to a VzWireless Tech, take the battery out for 30 seconds and then put it back in.
The phone should reset itself to pair the bluetooth headset with the phone. If that does't work
remove the device from the phone and start from step 1. I removed the device from the phone
then I took the battery out for 30 seconds. Then I paired the bluetooth and followed the next
steps to complete the sync.
LG HBM 730 wont take pair code "0000"
I was having problems connecting with my HBM-730 so I got fed up and deleted it from the list of paired devices and set it back up again using passkey 0000. It works fine now.

Try 9999.Else the passcode has been changed earlier or the piece is
malfunctioning.you did nothing wrong so far,since the headset is being
detected.If the headset still does not pair with the phone,then have to

Lost my instructions for pairing my LG 730
first make sure both devices are fully changes. next just click on the blue tooth icon.. next...in the on/off section at the top...make sure its cliecked on "on" make sure your visibility is on "visible"..then click on the set up devices button. then click on hands free setup/ next change to nearby devices at the topmake sure th4e headset is "on"...then pair it with it. voila! your off and running!

I just called LG (800-243-0000) for the same problem and they said that they are sending me a new earhook and it should be here in 2-3 weeks. We'll see if I actually get it.
How do I set my Bluetooth Headset HBM-730 to discover mode?
1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.
2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select HBM-730 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".
Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".
