It's aways better to deal with the retailer that sold it to you. They have direct lines to the maker and a vested interest in keeping their customer and local market happy.

If you have only had it for 2 months then you should go back to the retailer that you bought it from. They will be able to arrange to get it sorted for you.

I would not recommend to do so youself, because they have to be forced to get off.
They don't take more space when staying attached as you have folded the stroller.The shop you bought it from can arrange service to replace them.
