you need to replce the PCU - unit order code is

• B205-0153
• that depends on the counter number.
• or the cap from the other toner is still inside the the toner holder.
• check the old toner bottle does have a cap on it.
• how ever for i need the print counter to see if the PCU is for replacement.
• write the print counter, and see do the old toner bottle have ca p on it or is just a open hole.
• please write some additional info.

You can only select a paper size from the operation panel that the machine has loaded in the paper trays. If your are trying to select A3 and A3 does not show up in the list of available paper sizes then either you do not have that size loaded or the paper size dial in the tray is not set properly. These Ricoh's use a paper size dial in each tray that is designed to tell the machine what paper you have placed in that tray. So it is somewhat common for me to hear from people who have this problem because the paper was changed without changing the dial or the dial has been accidentally moved. I would check the paper size dial in each tray to be sure it is correct.

As in a toner empty error? Otherwise, it needs a new PCU.

I would try removing and reseating all the supplies, toner, fuser just to make sure something was not bumped loose while moving.

Go get the firmware from the ricoh site. Get the rfu file if you are doing it remotely eg. from your laptop or PC. Just make sure nobody is using the printer while you are doing it.

Please use caution in following the steps above. It is very important if you do not want to expose yourself to airborne toner that you are very careful about what type of vacuum cleaner you use. Many vacuums do not have filters fine enough to capture the toner and it gets blown out into the air where you breathe it in. This is the reason that technicians will be equiped with a small black suitcase vacuum. 90% of that suitcase is filter that traps all the toner.

Ricoh AF 3025 error code SC650 is wat problem?

Its an older machine, normally pretty reliable. Look for a service history with the machine to see if the machine was under a service contract and well taken care of. I would try and get one with a total meter count of under 400k.

Check the fuser section, probably the sensors.

Ricoh has the manual online. The scanner wants to scan to a folder that has been SHARED, on a computer somewhere. This setup happens easiest by accessing the printer from a computer, rather than the input pad on the machine. the address will be similar to http://192.168.xx.x/web/user/en/websys/webArch/mainFrame.cgi, and this address goes into the address bar (NOT search) of your browser.

The directions in the Ricoh manual will give you the specifics....

According to this website, the error code is due to a fuser temperature problem.

The Fix
In order to clear error SC542 follow these steps:

- Press and hold online + escape, then power on.
- Use up and down arrow keys to select SP2
- Press Enter
- Use up and down arror to locate SP5
- Press Enter
- Use up and down arrow keys to select 810
- Press Enter
- Confirm the selection
- Power off and on.

you need to buy a enable sd card for print and scan... and the problem with the fax function just conect it., the line and the phone.

open printer properties of some printer and select PORT, go on ADD PORT, and create IP port, then assign it to Canon Ir 3025. Be sure that the same IP, Subnet and gateway are on PC and copier. Under cmd run ping comand, eg. ping 192.168.1.100, and if you have replay without 100 % loss it would be OK.
