I have a Sharp CD-SW300
To start Try unplugging the power cord for ten minutes or so. That will reset electronics.
Regarding the fault.
If there is no display on LCD, then the controller board is probably faulty. It must be replaced, or repaired by a technician working at component level.
If the CD spins, and selector runs trying CDs one at the time, but not returning track list, then the problem is the lens.
Try using a cleaner CD, then try cleaning lens with isopropyl alcohol and QTips.
If the disk does not spin at all, then the spindle motor is faulty. The motor is tested by energizing it.
I also suggest Calling Sharp using the number listed on the owners manual. So that you will now the cost of an eventual repair.
Depending on the fault the unit may need testing at component level, and this must be done by a trained technician on site.
