Water dispenser stopped dispensing water but ice
I had the same problem. Ice maker works fine. Removed the kick plate at the bottom of the fridge to expose the water line. I disconnected it and then pressed the dispense button. Water pumped out of the line so i know water was getting all the way to the freezer door. I went overkill but it worked. I removed the freezer door and placed it outside. (disconnected the power to the door by disconnecting the plug at the top. and then removed two screws/bolts at the top and the door lifts up and off) I set the door on a patio table with the bottom facing up. I picked up some 16 gauge wire ($6 at Home Depot) and ran it up the water tube from the bottom of the door. The bottom is more of a straight shot up the water line. I also took a turkey syringe used to inject juice into a turkey and i shot very hot water up the line with the door upside down. This allowed water to run up the line and unfreeze it if it was frozen. I let it sit outside for 30 minutes and put the door back on and now it works like a champ. The line was either frozen or it was obstructed. The water line is surprisingly small. Took less than an hour and I now have water again. Not tough at all...

My Whirlpool GS6SHEXNL00 has a hole in the water
I do not have an answer for replacing the supply line, but You could potentially have a backed up supply line for either the water or ice maker lines on your fridge from t
he start device. On some models of refridgerator for maytag and whirlpool, these have been recalled. If your appliance was manufactured in the last 5-10 years you may be having an issue with this component. Mine recently caught on fire at this device that is located near the compressor. If you would like to be a part of the petition for a recall on this appliance contact me at [email protected]

Light in refrig not working & blue indicator
your motherboard in the lower rear area of the unit is bad,if you have recently replaced burned out lights in the refrige when these lights burn out it causes a surge on this control board and burns the circuit trace, hint:if you hear a rapid clicking noise in this area of the motherboard its a relay trying to latch,a bad board wont let it latch and the lights will dimly flash in the refrige compartment and the digital read-out may be out too

Ice Maker arms get stuck
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. Remove the
ice bin. Remove the wires from the auger motor. With the freezer door open and
the door switch depressed, push the ice cube release and check for 120VAC
between the motor wires. If there is 120VAC then the motor has gone bad. If
there is no 120VAC then the control board (module time delay) has to be
replaced.
Please do accept the solution if
the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee

Light Out
Either the door switch is broken or the light socket center connection tabs are bent too far in. Seeing as all the lights are out at the same time my money is on the door switch. It just pushes in and can be removed with a plastic putty blade.

Freezer wont defrost and fridge not cold
Better solution is to replace the defrost element, defrost timer,or defrost thermostat, one of these are not working and when replaced will fix the problem.
