It sounds like you need to replace your water inlet valve , it is a dual valve for ice and water in the door and they go out often , the solenoid is not opening anymore , it is located where you hook up the water line.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Crushed ice only.No cubes.
Pull the ice bin out about 4 inches and re-insert it in the slot in the rear to reset the crusher arm.

I need to know where the defrost timer is located?
Inside the control panel.
this unit has adaptive defrost circuit board.
Remove the control knobs.
Take a butter knife and go behind the front trim panel from the top. Snap it forward carefully.
Remove the screws holding the control panel in place.
Carefully lower the case. There will be a damper rod connected on the left side. Disconnect it only if you have to. Pay attention to re-hooking.

My freezer doesn't freeze, but it is cool
Be sure condenser fan is running and coil is clean. Does the freezer section have a hidden buildup of ice? If it does unplug until it melts. If after doing that it works check defrost timer.

What is the something? Is more of it coming out? Take the filter out and run the water in the unit without it...it should work. If the water runs clean, the problem is the filter. Don't shake the filter prior to installation.

Ice & water dripping in refrigerator
Seems that you now have to little gas in the fridge.Somewhere on your apparatus there should be a factory tag where it should be info on amount of gas, prod date etc and also which type of gas to fill.
Other thing as fan not running properly, door gaskets leaking can lead to Ice build up.
High humidity and water all over inside fridge.Gas filling procedure.Make vacum(vacumpump)Fill in correct weight (grams or oz)of gas.Anyhow when you must fill gas there is usually a leak in your system and to find that i use liquid nitrogen. For this serviceman is the best option.

Water spout replacement
this is a surprisingly easy repair that you can do in about 30 minutes.
- first remove dispenser cover: there are 2 slots on the very bottom of the cover insert flat tip screwdriver and carefully pry it off. then you should be able to disconnect a wiring harness and lay the cover to the side.
- next move switch console out of your way: you will either have 2 screws or 2 thumb latches on either side. you may need someone to hold this out of your way for the following steps.
- we need to disconnect the incoming water line down at the bottom hinge: remove kickplate and find the water line you should find a connector. while pushing the tube into the connect push down on the collar then pull the tube out of the connector.( you will most likely get a little bit of water when the tube pulls loose.
- back at the dispenser: find where the tube comes out and remove any retaining screws, then gently pull the entire tube up and out of the door.
- now do everything in reverse to finish up: the tube will push abck thru. when you get back to the hinge the tube may hange up I use a very small screw driver to line the tube up to come back thru the hinge.
- whne you reconnect the tube at the grille make sure that the tubing seats all the way to prevent any leakage
Be surre and be safe by unpluggin the unit before you perf any type of repair water and electricity dont mix. good luck Peyton

Ice maker wont make ice
It is quite possible that the water line which feeds the ice maker is frozen. Whirlpool manufactures a "REPLACEMENT" water line that solves this problem. Fortunatly our problem occured while the refrigerator was still under warranty. I would suggest that anyone owning a Whirlpool product purchase the longest extended warranty available! They USED to manufacture a quality product. But I guess they just don't care about the consumer any longer. It is all about money!!
