I have a Kitchen Aid Model KGRS807SSS00. Dead!

Sounds like your range's computer control is bad. It will be a repair man's job to replace it unless he can find a reset problem. Sorry it is not a repair you can do yourself.

Oven heats to desired temperature and then shuts off on its own. Makes baking and cooking difficult as does not do it consistently. Also clock will not maintain correct time despite being reset nume

the shuting down is caused by the thermostat and is affecting the simos battery of thr clock.

yes this will work for you, but before you change out the fan motor make certain the fan blades are unobstructed and not rubbing against anything this can make quite a horrible noise as well.best regards Falco

Replace oven UI -KitchenAid KGRS807SSS Gas Kitchen Range Problem

Unplug the stove for at least two minutes or throw the breaker for the same time. So far, has worked 100% of the time for me for all error codes. Apparently something gets out of whack and turning off or unplugging must reset the system.

Used self cleaning feature &

Hi,

I am sorry to hear regarding the trouble.

Be advised that as i am not there, i cannot provide legitimate 2nd opinion. However,i would be glad to add few inputs to the diagnosis.

This error message indicates - Oven temperature is too high (Clean mode)
Solution - Replace oven temperature sensor

It is located in the upper corner inside the oven. You need to test it for resistance it should have a reading of about 1100 ohms. If the resistance is wrong, you need to replace it.

Do not forget to ' ACCEPT ' the solution, so that i could get the credit for my time.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Door locked after self cleaning&panel went

NEVER use the self cleaning feature, again!!

Sounds like my problem two days ago. I have a Kitchen Aid free standing gas oven/range model
KGRI801PWH00. I read online that the thermo-fuse might've blown. I found the thermo-fuse after removing the rear panel. It was at the top/center. Mine is T-O-D (brand) 60F24; Westinghouse #8300802. I ordered mine from appliancepartspros.com for only $34.75; arrived in 36 hrs with regular shipping!! Easy to fix, sure beats several hundred $$ to repairman.

Don't bother to call Kitchen Aid - they'll just blow you off just like the hundreds of complaints said that I found online.

Error code FTE1

dsd Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.
you have a keypad issue

1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

One burner won't light have gas and spark. Cap

Hello

Burners will not light if there is the smallest amount of water in the holes. Have you washed the stove top recently?clean your stove, turn gas on high, light it with a lighter, and wait about an hour.....its normaly just a bit wet in there doing this lets it dry out.

blow air from your mouth at it as you are clicking it to light or use a match or try cleaning the electronic ignighter off.sometimes they get dirty and wont work

you can usually take the burner out and give it a good clean, make sure none of the holes are blocked with food etc, if its the ignition switch try using a lighter or matches to turn it on,

If these do not work then i suggest you replace the burner but this might be a bt expensive

KITCHENAID KGRS807 ERROR MSG F6E0

Problem with the time keeping unit. You will need to reset the unit. Unplug it for 30 minutes then plug it back in. If that does not work then check for bad ground wires that are not fully grounded on the unit. If you find a problem and need to order the part you can order it at repairclinic.com

Gas oven dosen't maintain set temperture

My experience on the direct spark ranges is that the gas valve is usually at fault for this problem. The regulator valve and the burner shutoff solenoids are all built together in one valve assembely. The valve will work properly until it gets hot then it will stick and not open when the oven calls for heat again.
Please post back with the complete model and serial numbers if you need further help in troubleshooting it. There have been many updates and design changes on these ranges.
Thanks/Mike

KitchenAid KGSS907SSS00 Oven. After self cleaning the oven I get error code F3E3 about the meat probe.

Question edited for clarity and add Maker. Question moved to maker category. Number 1 Tip, never ever use the self cleaning feature. It only exists to break the appliance and create the need for parts and service calls. The temperature is just too intense for the parts. A self-cleaning or pyrolytic oven is an oven which uses high temperature (approximately 932 °F (500 °C)) to burn off leftovers from baking, without the use of any chemical agents. The oven can be powered by domestic (non-commercial) electricity or gas.
