How long to run self clean on viking professional
The "Self Clean" will run for quite a while up to 4 hours I believe, during this time, the stove heats up to about 900 degrees!! and during this time the Door is automatically closed via special locks. It will allow you to open once it is finished, it should "Signal" this event.

Broiler doesn't turn on completely
The top element should come on when Broiler is selected. If both ovens have a broiler mode, then look for something failed in the circuit for the broiler heating elements (it's unlikely both broiler elements would fail together.). If there is only 1 oven with a broiler, look for a failed broiler element.

Oven remains locked after self cleaning
I ended up paying an independent appliance repair man $149.00 to fix my problem. However the "fix" also includes the fact that I can never lock the oven again.

Viking oven VESO107CSS, tried to start cleaning mode, it would not start. Now the oven will not heat and the cleaning light is flashing
If your Viking oven VESO107CSS will not heat and the cleaning light is flashing, it's possible that the oven control board is experiencing a fault or malfunction. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Turn off the power to the oven: Before attempting any repairs or troubleshooting, make sure the power to the oven is turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Check the door lock: If the oven door is not properly locked, the cleaning cycle will not start. Check to make sure the door is securely locked.
- Check the oven control board: The control board may be experiencing a fault or malfunction. Try resetting the control board by turning off the power to the oven for a few minutes, and then turning it back on. If this does not work, the control board may need to be replaced.
- Check the thermal fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that protects the oven from overheating. If the fuse is blown, the oven will not heat. Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the fuse, and replace it if necessary.
- Check the heating element: If the heating element is damaged or burnt out, the oven will not heat. Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the element, and replace it if necessary.
If none of these steps solve the issue, it's recommended to contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.
