We have Kenmore side-by-side door refigerator,

1)The door gasket on the freezer door helps keep the cold air in and the warm air out. If the gasket is dirty or damaged, it may prevent the door from closing properly, which can lead to frost buildup on your freezer walls. To make sure the door is sealing, slip a dollar bill or a sheet of paper between the gasket and the freezer and then close the door. If the bill or paper pulls free with little or no resistance, the gasket isn't sealing properly. Wipe the gasket with a damp cloth to remove dirt, grease and other residue. If the gasket is damaged, replace it with a new one. Sometimes frost can accumulate on the back panel of your freezer if the door is open too long or too often. When you open the door, you let warm, humid air inside, and this condenses and freezes. Make sure there are no packages preventing the door from fully closing, and limit how often you open the door by removing what you need all at once. 2)Ventilation is important because it ensures your freezer stays cold. If something inside the freezer blocks the internal vents, the freezer may become warm, causing condensation to form on the walls, and eventually leading to frost buildup. When loading your freezer, make sure there are no items resting against the rear wall of the freezer and space the contents out as much as possible to improve ventilation. 3)Side-by-side refrigerators with a built-in ice maker may accumulate frost if the flap on the ice dispenser doesn't close properly. This allows warm air to enter the freezer side, condense and freeze, causing frost buildup over time. Open the freezer door and examine the flap inside the ice chute. It should be flush against the housing. If it is not, empty the ice bin and make sure there is no ice or debris preventing the flap from closing. 4)If your freezer door closes properly and nothing is keeping it open, frost buildup on the back panel may indicate a problem with the freezer's self-defrost system. The self-defrost system turns off the compressor for a short time every six to 12 hours so it can turn on the defrost heater. This melts any frost buildup on the freezer coils, and the water drains to the pan beneath the freezer. If this component fails, frost continues to build. Move the contents to another freezer and turn your freezer off for 24 to 48 hours to manually defrost the interior. If frost builds up again, contact a qualified appliance repair technician to inspect the defrost timer and repair the problem.

My refrigerator is too cold so I traced the

yes that's the drain,it goes down the back to the drip pan near the compressor, the heat will evaporate the water,i use a steamer to clean out the drain, just blow out the line and then pour a cup of hot water down the drain to make sure it's open, some refrigerators have a piece on the back that you can remove and clean out,i'm not sure if you have this, there's a heater probe that you can get that raps around the heater and then sticks into the drain so this doesn't happen again, when the heater comes on the probe also heats up, as long as the drain goes straight down,if it turns as sonn as you stick something in it you can't use the probe

Refrigerator is sweating filling drain pan

A leaky door gasket will allow excess moisture in and it will condense on the cold surfaces and can also cause excess frost on the evaporator coil causing more water to go into the drain pan.
A good gasket will hold a dollar bill securely all away around the door.

Whirlpool refrigerator model WRB322DMBM0 1 with ice maker only. How do I find and change the ice maker filter

The Whirlpool WRB322DMBM01 refrigerator model typically does not have a dedicated water filter for the ice maker. Instead, it relies on an external water filtration system or an in-line water filter that may be installed in the water supply line connected to the refrigerator. Here's how you can check for and change the water filter for your ice maker: 1. **Locate the Water Supply Line**: Trace the water supply line that connects to the back of your refrigerator. The water supply line is usually a flexible plastic or metal tube that runs from the water source (such as a water pipe or faucet) to the refrigerator. 2. **Check for an In-Line Water Filter**: Look along the length of the water supply line for any inline water filters. These filters may be attached to the water line using compression fittings or push-to-connect fittings. They are typically cylindrical or rectangular in shape. 3. **Inspect the Filter**: If you find an in-line water filter, inspect it to determine its type and condition. Some filters have a label indicating the brand and model number, while others may have a date or indicator showing when it was last replaced. 4. **Replace the Filter (if Necessary)**: If the water filter is due for replacement or is visibly dirty or clogged, follow the manufacturer's instructions for replacing it. This typically involves turning off the water supply, disconnecting the filter from the water line, and installing a new filter in its place. 5. **Flush the System**: After installing the new filter, flush the water system to remove any air or debris. Run water through the dispenser or activate the ice maker to purge the system of any trapped air or loose particles. 6. **Monitor Performance**: Monitor the performance of your ice maker and water dispenser to ensure that the new filter is functioning correctly. It may take a few cycles for the water system to fully adjust to the new filter. If you cannot find an in-line water filter connected to your refrigerator's water supply line, it's possible that your refrigerator does not have a built-in water filtration system for the ice maker. In this case, you may need to consider installing an external water filtration system to improve the quality of your ice and water.

Whirlpool refrigerator is not getting cold but freezer is freezing. Can someone help, please?

As the freezer is working you can probably discount that the reason is low refrigerant gas. The other reasons would be that the fridge circulation fan has failed. or The channel that directs cold air from the freezer is blocked with ice at the rear of the freezer. It happened to my GE and was caused by a failed defrost timer that was icing up the evaporator coils at the back of the freezer. A service call lasts about an hour including melting the ice with a heat gun..

Whirlpool refrigerator compressor

I would seriously NOT recommend doing this! Trying to run a 110 volt appliance at 220 volts is too much power for the electrics inside the refrigerator (or any 110v appliance) to cope with. You will 'Fry' the electrics possibly even risking causing a fire. Do you have a model or serial number for this refrigerator? You might have to see if you can source one online and import it from the US. That could get expensive! A simple and obvious answer here if the part is so difficult to get, is to buy a whole new refrigerator. Compare the cost of both options as it may be cheaper to replace the whole appliance.
