Honeywell HHT-145 Air Purifier Questions & Answers
No power
mine was having the same issue. its been broken for 2 years now. i jsut fixed it a few minutes ago. there is a button sensor behind the top filter. if its not pushed in all the way it wont turn on. my filter was in correctly, but the button doesnt appear to be depressed all the way. when fastening the back cover it locked in good, but was still slightly loose. those two things together means the sensor wasnt being triggered. with your unit correctly assembled plug it in. while plugged in simply press the top of the back cover (where that sensor is) and the light should go green. i then taped it tight with a thin electrical tape as to not limit the airflow. it now powers on and works great.hope that solves it for you

Inside dirt etc.
this is real simple here all you have to do is get a strong vacuum cleaner like the dirt devil and put the suction right in the unit so that it will act as your compressor and it will suck out the dirt.Do not wet the unit because that will fuse the dirt tightes into the unit\'s paws, and then you can use a small or large paper clip to clean out the stubborn holds that are clogged with dirt and debris along with you vacuum. This shouldn\'t take no more than 20 minutes tops .what ever you decide to do do not force anything because those plastic covers are sometimes weak thin&unpredictable, just take your time and go slow until you see how to take off the covers without causing a disaster! It only takes one stupid blunder to ruin your unit forever!Let me knows how it works out!

Gentlemen:
The LCD display on top
According to what I found, if the filter is not reinstalled just right, it won't trigger the filter being back inplace switch. Also, try unplugging the unit for 30 minutes and then plug it back in. That may reset the switch. If tall else fails, call Honeywell Customer Service at 877- 841-2840.
Hope this helps to solve the problem, JR.

After cleaning and replacing filters, won't turn on
I have had the same problem. The way I fix mine (it only runs for a couple days staight) is to switch the two filters (or maybe you just need to remove completely?) making sure they are in tight. Replace the cover and it should work!
