How to replace a door
Hi.
The procedure is quite complicate, because the seal is secured to the front panel, and you will need to remove top panel, detergent drawer and access control assembly
- Disconnect appliance from power
- Remove the door, held by two screws located on the rear side of the lid.
-
Lift the top panel, held by two screws at back.
-
Undo the two screws joining the detergent dispenser to the inlet valve.
-
Undo the two screws located at the front corners.
So to release the fascia and dispenser.
-
take out fascia and the dispenser alltogether and put it on one side. Take care to not disconnect wiring and do not drop parts.
- Release the retaining wire
that keep the seal secured to the front panel. Look after it, you will need it again.
-
Undo the two screws that hold the front pane. They are located on the front side.
-
Remove the kick panel
- Behind the the kick panel you will find the two screws that will release the front panel, remove both of them.
-
Disconnect the door switch conntector.
- Lift the front panel. You may need to help yourself using a putty knife.
- Remove the clip with two hooks inside, it is located at about one o clock. This will finally release the seal.
- Remove the seal and clean the area where you will fit the new seal.
- Start mounting the seal from the lower part on the right, at about four o clock. You will notice the seal matching.
-
Put back the retaining wire usingf long-nose pliers to put the wire in tension.
- Reassemble the washer in reverse order.
Unfortunately we do not have step by step pictures. I hope that my instructions had been enough clear and detailed.
Regards.

Soon as i set cycle and swich on door light flashes open
hi,
The cycle doesn't advance
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:
It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.
It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.
Thanks for your question.

Closed door
Dear babmat: just now got your question.
We are very satisfied with our ARISTON Washing Machine. I trust that that is what you are inquired about?
I had the same problem the first time. This locking occurs when one opens or tries to open the washing machine door too soon!!!! It has to be left alone for a few minutes. When I waited and later tried again to open the machine, I did not have a problem.
Just wanted to leave this note for anyone who encountered the same problem. You, yourself, hopefully, might have gotten that answer and the problem fixed in the meantime!?
Greetings, handinovice

Washing Machine Door will not open
it is poss that you pressure system has not released, and this can keep the door closed. Unplugging it will not cure this fault. It is also poss that you have a blocked filter or waste. Unfortunatly has you are older people I would call an engineer

Ariston Margherita ald 1 40 Error code H2O
H2O is the symbol for WATER and probably indicates a WATER related fault on your machine. A pressure switch is the normal way the machines 'sense' when the level is sufficient. Overfilling suggests a faulty switch, which will need to be replaced by a technician. Also, ensure that the machine drains as it should, if not, the pump filter may be blocked.

My washing machine (model AQXL
when I wash heavy stuff it will not spin properly because the weight is not distributed evenly over the load and it stops every time. you may need a repair man unless you can just move the dial to a drain spot rather than spin, if enough water gets out it will probably open then.

Ariston a1600wd wont turn on
Before you change fuses, do you have an internal fuse board or RCD system in your home? Sometimes, an individual RCD can trip out, locking off sockets. Some sockets are individually set up for up and downstairs in a house, or different rooms. If you have a board or RCDs, check them out :)

Ariston washing machine front loader keeps spewing out water from the top of washing machine lid
Washer fills with water and overflows:
The water pressure level switch is a pressure activated switch that is used to determine the correct water level in the tub. This part is normally located behind the control panel and will have a hose or air dome tube that connects it to the tub. On washers that use an electronic control, this switch may be located at the sump area below the tub. As the water fills in the tub it will compress the air in the tube and push against a diaphragm inside the switch. The switch will control the water inlet valve and turn the valve off at the correct water level. If the tube has a leak, not enough pressure may be created to activate the switch and the washer may overfill. If the switch is defective it may also cause the machine to overfill. To determine if the switch is bad, you should first eliminate the air dome hose as a problem. Look for signs of cracks or worn areas on the hose. Remove the hose and submerge in water. Seal one end and blow air into the other end and look for bubbles. Check for an obstruction in the hose as well. If the air dome hose appears to be ok, then the water level switch may be defective.
You can test it with a meter and with a manual test? ( first locate it in the panel, it has a plastic clear tube hose going into it, remove that tube from its connection, now put another small tube or hose into the slot where it was and have the machine set to wash cycle with water in it. Blow into the other end of the tube.
If the machine starts to wash. the pressure switch is more than likely good
( No wash- then THE DIAPHRAGM IS BAD AND SWITCH HAS TO BE REPLACED).
The other item to check would be your water inlet valve. Check it for continuity with a multi meter it should show Ohms or a closed circuit. To test it when water is overflowing unplug the unit and see if it still overflows or continues to fill. If it stops when unplugged. Then it is not a water inlet problem but an electrical signal problem going to ur water inlet valve. Possibly from the panel or board. You can also do a live volt test to see if it is getting the full 120 current, but be sure to unplug unit before testing as this is a live test.
Also another trick to check the water valve, is to first cut the water off and remove the hoses off the back of the washer. Then one at a time point the hoses inside the washer tub and turn the water back on. If you don't have good water pressure, turn the water back off and remove the strainer that should be in one end of the hose. Inspect the strainer to see if it is stopped up, clean it and reinstall it. Now repeat this test. If you have good water pressure now, reinstall hose and your problem is fixed
By the way my advice is free cuz God is good!

Aquatis AQXXF 129 h. what is the error code 08?
It means "heater relay cannot be activated". Troubleshooting guide says to tap the relays to try to unjam them. If that fails, replacement of the main control board is necessary. These washers apparently have a propensity for stuck relays on the newer units.
