If it doesn't go from the wash to the dry, check to make sure that both the washer and the dryer are set before the start of the cycle. It also could be blowing a fuse.

My apologies if this answer does not meet with your approval, but as you do not give any information, it would be impossible for anyone to diagnose the problem, thus calling in a technician would be your best bet.

have you checked the water pump that draws the water out of the machine there maybe an obstruction like a sock or something. Make sure the pump is turning freely there maybe a blockage there. Also check the exit hose as well. Gain access from the rear.

washers are pretty robust. Possibly the solonoid is faulty or possibly a wire has simply pulled off the terminal. Need to remove top lid.(pull power plug out first). You need to test firstly if there is power to the terminals when you first switch on. If you do, possibly your water solonoid if faulty or there is an obstruction between the pipe connecting to the washer and the inlet solonoid. Using careful observation, you should be able to work it out from there.

In a word...Yes.

There actually aren`t anything different about most rv appliances, with the exception of gas/absorbtion fridges. As far as the "Splendid" brand washer/dryer combo, they are just an "equator/bendix" with a different badge and a little more compact...harder for me to work on is all, no elbow room, hah ha !

The water inlet lines, power cord, and drain are all the same. ( unless someone has changed them ).

Sounds as if the drain pump is not ejecting the water fast enough. Did you notice of the washer is draining more slowly than usual or at all?

THE CAPACITOR IS FAULTY that discharges so door can be opened safely it should be at the rear of mc inside attached to the side of mc make sure u get correct microfarfad replacement

if you look at where the handle is while pulling the door slightly towards you you may be able to see the door leaver get a piece of wire make a hook and pull on it if this does not work you will have to take the top off and do it from there also check near your filter cover if you have one some washers have a release wire good luck let me know how you went

I used to work on these quite alot, but not so much anymore because of working at Sears, I don't see much of them now.

Going on my past experience though, It sounds like it will either be

A) motor brushes (although that usually manifest's as "not spinning", because it'll rotate one way but not the other)

B) control board (not timer, they have a dedicated motor control board at the bottom to the left of the motor, when looking from the back)

I don't want to say one way or the other, but it might be best to call a tech. to look at it that's familiar with those splendide/bendix units. I used to service them in a major city and knew a parts supplier who could get those control's rebuilt, brushes etc. I don't know if that will be available where you are.

there may be a thermal limiter inside the washer, remove th back cover to see it if it does have one.

Your heating element could be out. This could be just a bad element or if you don't hear the fan come in the the dry cycle, the fan probably failed and caused the element to burn out. If your clothes are getting warm but not drying completely then you need to check your exhaust hose and make sure it is not clogged with lint.
