Does the burner attempt to re-ignite after it goes out? If so, it's probably the therocouple. If not, it could be the burner valve. Be sure the caps and rings are correctly seated on the burners and be sure to firmly press the burner knob down to start the flame.

It is a gas appliance and it is a Miele, so you need a registered gas technician to service it. In my experience, the spark igniters work on all burners. To clean the burners, remove them all and put them in a large saucepan. Add cold water and dish liquid, bring slowly to a simmer and turn off. When cold, rinse and scrub with a plastic pot brush, paying particular attention to holes and slots. This was a job we did in the restaurant every week. Press ‘power’ button on front and ‘lock’ bottom at same time until you get p5 mode displaying ( it is in programming) mode.
Then press top left to ‘0’, bottom left panel to ‘0’, then press right bottom panel to 9, then press on ‘power’ button to save. This should take it off demonstration mode.

Without more info this is difficult to answer. I will say that all cooktop's have thermal overload switches built into them. They open the circuit until it all cools down and they then close the circuit and reset. You begin using it again and bang it opens again and no power. This means you have a short circuit or a bad overload switch. If you are tripping the circuit breaker, you likely have a short circuit, which is why it is tripping the breaker. I would not keep resetting it, if this is the case. The more you blow or open the breaker the weaker it becomes. They open to prevent an electrical fire, which you do not want.

Unless you have electrical skills I suggest have a qualified electrician check it. If you do have skills, obtain a volt/ohm meter and test the element for continuity and the socket for power. My guess you need a new element.

Try turning off at breaker wait 10 sec and back on. If that does not work you will need to call a service tech.

You should get the conversion supplied by the manufacture. That is the only way you should do it

Bummer deal! While that code response is not known by me, sometimes when a heat sensor fails, or a wire loses contact, the computer gives a code. Be care wiggling any live wires as a weak or broken wire will spark brilliantly. That spark may end the problem - or indicate that part is needed. A sensor sends signal to turn off or on the flow of electricity to control heat levels. When they fail, or a wire closes connection the computer does not know what to do, so it says, "Da," check this thing out, giving the code you see. Pursuing the checks stated will show which problem you have. Hope this works - as those sensors on electric rangers and ovens, wires, and sometime a wire break on the top, or plug-in point for elements are big trouble makers. PS: Some knobs have a sensor in them that can fail. Of course an appliance person will check each point and may have the code interpetation.. A Tech visit cost about $75 for an estimate.
