Try disposing your database object properly by making use of the using keyword. Uunless you need your connection open. But it is not recommended.

You must disasemble de unit. There is a Ni-Mh 3.6v 15mAh batery inside at the bottom of the unit.

A warm boot restarts the mobile computer by closing all running programs. All data that is not saved is lost.

A cold boot also restarts the mobile computer, but erases all stored records and entries from RAM. In addition it returns formats,
preferences, and other settings to the factory default settings.

Do you mean so that it will automatically input 'enter' after each scan

If so, this can be solved by ediitng the registry. You can do so as follows:

Download the enter file (this is a sendspace link, so it will not be up for very long).

Copy the file to the "Application" folder on the MC1000 and then do a cold boot and test.

I'm afraid I don't really understand how the reg has been editied in this file, otherwise I would post more detailed instructions rather than asking you to trust a file from an unknown person. But this fix was given to me by someone ore knowledgeable than me, and it has okay on my scanner!

If you go to Symbol's support pages you can search for the manual and various other guides (it is a bad search though - I just looked thorugh for the English manual so I could direct link and couldn't face going thorugh the millions of results). Remember they class it as a mobile computer not as a barcode scanner!

Why they don't at least give a link to the manual in the documentation, however, I don't know!
