If it has a pilot light: themobilian_411.jpga little gas comes out all the time on these. Just use a lighter. Warning for propane model have plenty of ventilation before attempting to light it. Propane is twice as heavy as air and nat gas is lighter than air. propane puddles and lingers while nat gas dissipates. If yours has a glow bar no need to light it:

you can try to snag the wire using a clothes hanger with a u bent in end . if you can see it with a light you may get it back . other wise pull the oven and remove the back to install wire . . some oven do have lifo off doors but they also may have a screw in the hinge . so ck .. and if element was good then look at function or thermo as having the problem..

The burner is blocked or burners cracked. It has to be checked,.Check the burner holes ,clean the holes with paper clip. Also see the spark igniter. Is it getting short,in that case it has to be replaced.Do not use till this problem gets checked and confirmed.------------

You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com

Probably the safety valve is stuck closed or the bi-metal inside has died. You could try cleaning the probe on the pilot assembly and repositioning it so more flame can hit or clean the buildup around the pilot to make it a little hotter. When replacing the safety valve it will not be preset. Sit it beside the old one and get the orifice height the same and you will be in the ballpark of where you want that flame. More Here
