Turntable spinning to fast

Clearly an electrical fault. Could be something to do with the power supply or the speed control circuit, or even the motor itself. For the manual visit the Gemini website.

There should be a number on the cartridge, put that into google and that should answer your question. If you need a cartridge you can generally use any that will fit the headshell, as long it is a magnetic cartridge. It will depend on how much you want to spend for the best quality.

If the amp doesn't have an imput marked phono, or deck, or turntable, the answer is yes. Search for a 'magnetic cartridge pre-amp' via google.

Nothing happen when pressing the Start/Stop button.

One ov my decks (same Gemini PT-1000 II) had the same problem. Just open it and clean the micro switches underneath the big buttons. It worked fine for me.

The output of my GEMINI GVX-SUB18P is weak and distorted. Also I measured the Voltages Ubase and Uemitter on the output transistors and both are the same: 0.40 Volt DC.

measuring that voltage wont tell you a lot of information. You need to see signals in an audio circuit and those transistors could be MOSFET and or they cannot be tested while in circuit.

Hi everyone, I have a Gemini PT 2000 and it's sound is noisy. Moving the tonearm sometimes sounds ok, sometimes sounds worst. The 45 rpm button isn't working, the pitch adj. isn't well calibrated, the tonearm holder (the plastic clip) is broken and the power button light shielding (the transparent or almost transparent plastic is broken in half). Some advices in order to restore the turn table?

Much depends on the noise and where it is originating. The deck doesn't seem well thought of and it is unlikely the manufacturer has a spare parts service - unless you have the skills needed to locate and rectify the "noise", which could be electrical, electronic or mechanical, and otherwise restore the deck it would seem advisable to replace it.
