I think you will find it is not available or sold apart from the two inner screens.A option is to find and buy a piece of similar plexi-glass as that is only a anti glare protective screen.Measure it carefully and do some research.

If it's a projection tv, your bulb is about to die.

Remove the Front Bootom Panel Then under the screen is serveral screws holding Screen on remove them and Screen Lifts Up and out.

Unfortunately, you need a set-top box. The Hitachi 65F59 has an ATSC (digital OTA) and NTSC (analog) tuner. It doesn't have a clear-QAM (unencrypted digital cable) tuner.

There are a few DVR set-top boxes with QAM tuners that you can buy separately. (You will need to make sure a given model is compatible with your service. FIOS uses a different option on the Cable Card than other providers.) Alternatively, you can get a cable box from your company.

If you want OTA HD, you will need to determine the correct antenna for your area and the direction to the transmitters. (External antennas pick up more stations. In some areas amplification may be needed to get a good signal.) See antennaweb.org or tvfool.com for searches on the appropriate antenna to get a signal and where to point the antenna. Antennaweb assumes an external antenna but is very conservative in the received channel list. You would need to set the TV signal input to Air and rescan for channels if you choose to go with the OTA signal.

it could be a wire plug not seated properly on the DCU. I would inspect the wire connections to insure they are al seated properly

for the crack, you can buy a new screen from www.TvRepairKits.com though it will cost a little over $100 because it will cost about $100 to ship. as for the drown, i don't know how to fix it. to remove the screens just pop off the part covering the edges of the screen

there is a mirror inside the projector box, contact www.partstore.com or andrewselectronics.com. you will need a complete model number when you research the part number for the mirror.

You have several choices:

1. GOOGLE THE MODEL NUMBER WITH THE WORDS: REPLACEMENT SCREENS

2. You can contact ANDREWS ELECTRONICS IN Los Angeles; they are the largest OEM parts dealer in the United States.

Be aware---most of the Hitachi units use a inner and outer screen and most are only sold as a pair.

These, if available are not cheap---a guess would be over 200 plus for both screens.

Do some research with GOOGLE AND SEE WHAT YOU CAN FIND.

You might can get you a schematic for the tv and troubleshoot it yourself, if you know how to use a multimeter. Check the voltages at the horizontal outputs,voltage regulator. I get mine at www.servicemanuals.net and they are the factory manuals at a low price, you download them to your computer

First remove Front bottom Panel then remove all the screws holing Top screen on Push up Pull out there!

No, it cannot be fixed.

The part is called a display panel and even if it is available the cost of such a part is more than the set cost when new.

LCD AND Plasma panels are very fragile.

There is a reflective mirror in that, you probably damage that mirror when you drop it.

in the customer menu you will find (if it is spanish now) idioma--use the cursor on the remote to change it to english or french---if this helps you give me a feedback vote.
