Hello, Sharon -
The model number you provided indicates the slow cooker is made by Durabrand, a trade mark exclusive to Walmart. I suggest you contact Walmart Customer Service directly (by phone or email) and ask. This is the link to the Walmart Contact Us information: https://corporate.walmart.com/contact-us . It includes a link to send an email message.
You don't have to put water in your slow cooker base since it is heated up by coils hidden in its core and not by hot water. You don't have to put water in your slow cooker base since it is heated up by coils hidden in its core and not by hot water.

Hello Philip. Your slow cooker is from England and the only company I know of that carries parts is this one. Go to this link and you can either order the part or ask the company to locate the part for you. http://www.mastersparesonline.com/

Yes, leave it to cool to room temperature and then store it in the fridge until tomorrow when you continue cooking I suggest you add a few minutes to the time to allow for it to come back to cooking temperature.
Contact the manufacturer of your cooker through their website and they will likely send you the parts. Look for an area of the site that says Support, Customer Support or Contact Us.
(That's what the manufacturer did for my CrockPot with a damaged lid - it was great service)
