Get a gold plated professional splitter if you need one or two , it will cost about 15 or more each . Make the cable runs as short as possible, using the thick good cables. If needed get a signal magnifier. From radio shack or the source etc. Connect them good and tight . Ground the splitters . what kind is it? you can use an universal remote if it is an GE or RCA etc. then you do not have to program it. if it is something else then you have to program it. also, go to their website and possibly you can order one.

Hello Boilerataz: The componet you should be consideing replacing is are the X-Substain Buffer boards, when they go bad you get 2inch bars either black or what ever pixel color address on the boards that have failed. These are the the small boards running along the bottom and side of the screen. The Y-substain and X-substain boards are connected to them. If you look at the location of the screen where the bars is and then at the board that handles that address section of the screen this is the one thats bad. I would also advise replacing X-substain Board also in this case because if the driver boards have failed the it maybe because of a bad X-Substain Board.
