Have you already tried going to a local thrift stores like Goodwill or Salvation Army? They should have them in there. Most of the time, a suitable substitute exists, so you may also want to check out with a local appliance store. Another option is to try at eBay they often sell power cords that are either identical to or compatible with various appliances. These are the options I have provided you since you will not find websites who are selling out spare parts for this brand and model.

Regrettably, I contacted the RIVAL company and they said they no longer support this model. Plus they stated that the item would not be sold separately. 800-557-4825 option 1
I even looked on ebay to see if someone would sell the part separately, regrettably there were no listings.

Element is broken or thermostat is not good.They can be tested by someone that is electrically inclined. There may be a fusible link breaking the circuit. The element is ubder the bottom cover underneath.Make sue unit is unplugged before disassemby. Good Luck.

yes, it could. if you have just buy this fryer call te repairmann from your area, it could be repaired or changed.

the reset switch is a miss print in the manual. call this number 1-800-557-4825 they will replace the unit for free if it is still under warranty

there is not a reset on this fryer even though the manual says there is one, its probably a thermal fuse inside the unit thats open

to my understanding this is due to the internal thermal fuse which is located inside the heating element. As far as I can see it can not be replaced.
