Eureka! I have solved this problem.
Disconnect your Senseo from the power. Take it to the sink. Hold it upside down and put hot water in the coffee outled. In less than 30 seconds the senseo will open.

The problem with Senseo is that - especially with coffee holders for 2 cups and chocolate - after making the coffee, the pod holder and the pod cool down. This creates an underpressure, that prevents you opening the Senseo. Hot water will increase the pressure and then you can open the senseo very soon.

This solution was found in despair after struggling with all the complex tool involving (knives, pumps, etc.)

Let me know if it works for you

Call the mfr and they should send you a manual or you can get it from their website.

try in different GFI outlet, if it trips the new one, the coffee maker is dangerous and you should return/replace it, it has a short.

if it doesn't, replace the GFI outlet, it is old.

HI that is ashame. I gather this is a coffeemaker that grinds the coffeebeans as it makes the coffee.
You are certain that you have used the correct cleaning fluid.
Take a look through the manual esp. the pages about cleaning and the pages about settings.
Enjoy your coffee

It is cuesed by a short, If the unit got wet, try drying it out for a few days.(not in the sun) with winds, Open as much holes in the unit as you can if after the drying it is still doing it this short is caused by an electric wire thatch loose...
Fix it by finding the wire or by taking in to an electrician...
Hope it helps
