Plug in the usb receiver into a spare usb port

The compartment door is on top of the mouse under the logo where your palm will rest, if you turn the mouse over there is a button designed to pop open the battery compartment door. Doesn't it have a USB charging port? Get the cable that fits that port and plug into a USB charger (like a phone charger) or into a USB port on the MAC
