Go to West Bend products on the internet. look for your cooker by model and then go to their parts department when you find the serial number of the part. Order from them directly as they are the only manufacture of that part.

West Bend is no longer offering a lid replacement on this model. Your best bet is to look at http://ebay.com. Be sure to enter less specific description since your lid may not be listed there by model number but simply as oval, etc. There are several West Bend Slow cooker lids listed now, but you will need to look at the pictures to see if any are the lid you need.You might find it at a second hand store as well.

No. It will not brown the meat. Just quick brown your meat and then put in the crock to cook. You will have seriously tender meat and it will be brown.

The E01 error message happened to me this morning. I unplugged the crock pot, held the "cook" button and plugged it back in while holding in the "cook" button. It seemed to reset itself. It is working fine now.

Recommend to take the lid to a hardware stare, and let them remove the remaining screw and match it. Or, if there is but one screw, they can help you find a screw to fit. God bless your efforts.

Find out what the error code alludes to and rollup sleeves and .....................Could be something as simple as an open heating coil.

Why? Cheaper to just buy a new B&D for like $20.

The only place I've seen them is on Ebay. The West Bend site doesn't seem to carry a replacement for the glass casserole lids any more. On Ebay I've seen the glass lids for both 6/4 quart models and 5/3 quart models. I am not sure, but I think the 6/4 pans and lids are just a little longer than the 5/3 pans and lids.
