umm if I understand correctly you want one document printed same document on both sides select double side printing the where it ask for how many copies you want send to or how many of the documents you want in increments of two ex. 2=1 double side copy,4=2 double sided ,6=3double sided

check that the paper size is correct on your machine then turn it off and on and the device your printing from. basically reset both. if that doesnt solve it check that the driver is correct reload driver and check connections

does the exposure lamp lights when u make a copy. if yes thenthe charging wire might be broken .check and replace it. it can also be the high voltage supply board .

press 1087, 1087 until the machine shows U000 self status, press 163, press start and then scroll to execute and then press enter. the machine will iunitialize and come ready for copying

check the paper size from your page setup

Try this... Remove all the connection to the PC (USB, network or parallel). Turn off the printer on the power plug for about 3-5 minutes. This will clear all the documents sent previously.

go to printer properties, printing preferences and set the paper size to A4 or the size you are sending

can you place your labels on the multipurpose tray instead of using the cassette

check drum unit contacts if ok. remove the cylinder and cleaning blade and replace on the old unit

Is the email and scanning already set up? The reason I ask because if they are not set up (either one) it can be quite in depth.
Also is it networked or hooked up USB?

1. First you need the driver. Use this one for the 32bitthis one for the 64bit systems.
2. Attach your computer to the printer. this can be done different ways depending on the options you've installed in the copier. Parallel cable, USB cable, or via the LAN using an IP.
3. With cable printing you can hook it up, load the driver, and go. With IP printing you will need to add a port and specify the IP of the printer or Jetdirect box.
4. The wizard will take you through the rest.

NOTE: Copiers don't have the ability to buffer jobs the way printers do, large jobs not managed by the local computer may hang on older copiers. Keep in mind that this may not offer the smooth operation you would get from say an HP Laserjet, etc.

it is obvious to me that the problem u have is the printer is not communicating with the computer and i also think the printer is defective and is the source of this loss of communication, as to what is causing this will take a skilled tech to figure out though testing. in the end you may find it cheaper to replace than repair based on current labor rates for this type of diagnosis and repair..

IF it says downloading program it sounds like it is trying to update the firmware. Did someone stick a compact flash card in the CF card slot. If so removed the CF card and reboot the machine.

please check corona wire may be it was broken re-wear it then print ok
