HI is the signal that the self-check function can no longer continue - the control board or one of the sensors/thermistors is defective.
Sorry , there is nothing you can do to it - the control board will have to be tested and most likely replaced.
A new one can be obtained from here along with all the other parts

I love this toaster oven and when it was old and worn out, wanted to replace it but they don't make them anymore. Thru Panasonic I got the name of their authorized repair and nobody near me dealt with toasters but a guy in San Jose (also Panasonic approved) did. I sent the toaster to him, he did a great job. I have never done this but I highly recommend them.

The bulbs are available from the Panasonic parts store (Google), however I called Panasonic service and they could not explain to me how to take the toaster apart or tell me how much the repair would be. I partially disassembled the toaster and still could not figure out how to replace the bulb. Sorry. Good luck.
