I doubt there are serviceable parts in that appliance. There are a series of gears and a motor that provide the torque for the paddles that knead the dough.

Since you have a bread machine you should just go ahead and choose a program and let the bread machine do the baking for you. It will be at the right temperature and allow your bread to rise better than in the oven.

Be sure you are not using flour that is marked "all purpose flour" you should be using a bag of flour marked "bread flour" unless you are baking a whole wheat bread.

It's not uncommon for a hole to be left on the bottom where the paddle is. Is that what you mean?

Try soaking overnight with enough water to cover the paddle. If that doesn't work you can try my other method. Email me at [email protected] for details on that one.

As long as you are planning to bake right away it doesn't make any difference. I do add the yeast last though.

My kneading blade was also thrown out in a stale loaf when I had an unexpected hospital stay, Id only had the breadmaker a month- Ive tried the manufacturer an have been told they dont do any spares for that model, please post your solution if you are successful at tracking one down, thanks, Lorraine.

Someone scanned and uploaded the manual on Bob Vila's website.... I uploaded it to www.safemanuals.com, so you should be able to find it by searching for "cbm-310" on that site. I just uploaded it, and it said it could take a couple of days before it's approved.
