It will not turn on, i tried the reset button

Check the plug end of the power cord--if the cord is pulled instead of the plug, it can cause breakage of the wires inside the cord. Try pulling the plug from the cord--if the insulation seems to stretch-out, shorten the cord a little(an inch or so) and install a new replacement plug. If cord seems ok, then an internal inspection of the motor area is the next option.

No power. Thanx for help.

Cha-Ching. Finally. I could not sit still until tomorrow to call customer service. For a moment I thought my power juicer motor was shot. :( I was a bit sad. I patiently took apart all of the screw to realized that I only need to unscrew 3 screws on the bottom to get to the motor. Once the bottom part is open I see that one of the cables are loose and just reattached it. It is very simple wiring inside. There is only 3 cable and 3 attachment spot inside...so pretty simple. :) Happy again and Juicing :)

Juicer will not run

Make sure the stainless bar running across the top is snug on the left and right groove. It has a shut off switch when not installed properly.

Crescent tool is missing---what can i use instead

Just find a big wire around 1/8 diameter. Bend it and insert both ends on the blade holes. Cover the sharp blade with cloth or use leather gloves.

How do I use jack lalanne's crescent to dissasemble the machine?

The crescent tool has two lugs. They insert into the two holes in the cutter then you turn the cutter with it anticlockwise until it unscrews.

STRIPPING DOWN THE JUICER FOR CLEANING

Yes.  There should be an orange handle-looking accessory with to small metal rods sticking out that is made to clik into the wire mesh screen and unlock it be twisting the screen mechanism slightly so you can unscrew it out.
See the enclose photos of the tool.
Hope this helps...

Cant grt it apart to clean

Take off the top part of the juicer that has the chute. You will see the blade and basket. The blade appears to be attached to the basket with three small screws but is actually screwed onto the basket by a large screw that protrudes out of the basket underneath the blade. So the trick is to unscrew the blade, turning it to the left by using maybe a small screwdriver that you will have to put into one of the two small holes that are on the blade surface and pushing the blade to the left. This should loosen the blade and then you can just unscrew the blade off the basket. Once you get that blade off, the rest of the juicer comes apart. The newer models come with a little tool with a couple of arms that go down into those holes and loosen the top. Good luck.

Taking apart Jack Lalne power juicer to clean.

There are two holes on the surface of the blade. When the juicer was bought, it came with a half moon shaped orange tool that has two posts that fit into these two holes.

By inserting the tool into these holes you can unscrew the blade from the machine as long as you hold the outer screen while doing so.

Once this is done, you simply lift the other pieces off.

If you can't find your orange two prong tool, i would suggest using a screw driver or two that fit into the hole(or two)..... hold the orange screen and turn the blade counter-clockwise..

Hope this helps
