Gos in to protection mode

Check for a short circuit in the wiring of the output speakers or a shorted speaker voice coil, also check for correct voltage to the POWER AMP while in use... when an AMP goes in protective mode this means two things A SHORTED OUTPUT or A INCORRECT VOLTAGE TO THE POWER AMP. if all the above is OK than the AMP is defective. are you using correct speakers OHMAGE 4, 6 8ohms??? according to your AMP.

Good luck!

FUC% the protection light

i had a similar problem with my amp (although a different brand). Check you ground connection and make sure it's not grounded to metal with paint covering it. This is NOT a solid ground connection. You must remove the paint then reconnect it. Without a solid connection to ground, it cant run for very long without going into protection mode. Hope this helps

The most common cause for this is shorted output transistors.

Your D-SERIES amplifier was designed to operate efficiently at loads down to 2 Ohms.
This means that you can install four 8 Ohm speakers per channel when using parallel wiring.
of an additional 10W to each speaker.
Please note: The gain control of any car audio amplifier should not be mistaken for a volume
control. It is a sophisticated device, designed to match the output level of your audio source unit to
the input level of the amplifier . Do not adjust this input level to maximum unless your input level
requires it. Ignoring these instructions will result in an input overload to the amplifier, and excessive

these conditions before attempting to power up the amplifier again.
When operating at 2 Ohms, the amplifiers will increase their output power by approximately 50%. The
current draw will so increase by about the same amount, also be sure you have enough current to
run the amplifiers into a 2 Ohm load. If you lack adequate current, your music reproduction will be
Increasing the number of woofers per channel at low frequencies (up to 100MHz) produces an acoustic
coupling effect. This acoustic coupling increases your power output by 3 dB per speaker, or the equivalent
audio distortion. It can also cause the protection circuit to engage.

2004 Lincoln Navigator (Canada) 6-cd changer stereo died. I want to get an after-market stereo but not sure what else I need? Which wire harness I need, connector, adaptor or installation kit?

Like for like. Go to a breakers yard. The audio system is an extension of the Body Control Module, part of the computer system and is used to Audio Alerts, Chimes etc. that play through the speakers. If you replace it with a completely different unit, the BCM won't understand the data. A company like Crutchfield will guide on you what _might_ work, and they will also supply harness connectors. It needs to be specific. https://www.google.com/search?q=2004+Lincoln+Navigator+(Canada)+6-cd+changer+stereo ..

I have been trying to get my X DVD 276BT to Re game sound back at 1st I didn't hook up My Pink break I did however hook up the illuminations Orange wire to the Orange and white to harness Had issues when using my dimmer I cut dimmer all the way up my radio would stop flashing other settings on my dimmer switch would make my radio Flash I liminate did my Orange wire and grounded my Pink brake wire to the back of radio I'm getting a blue screen no signal Does anybody have an idea how to get my sound back I did have sound it started losing sound when I would Bluetooth for some time it would cut out I would turn the radio off then back on and it would start working again now I can't get the sound to work at all is there anybody that can help me with this issue it were be greatly appreciated riding in silence is very depressing lol

Whew I'm not sure the following will get you there. But it may give you more insight as to what is going on and that may give you more of an idea how to proceed. Troubleshoot the issue step by step: Check Wiring Connections: Make sure all the wires are properly connected according to the stereo's manual. Double-check the connections for the Pink brake wire and the Orange illumination wire. The Pink brake wire is typically used to prevent video playback while the vehicle is in motion. If it's not connected correctly, it might affect other functions. The Orange illumination wire is usually connected to the vehicle's dimmer switch. If there are issues with the dimmer, it could impact the stereo's display. Dimmer Settings: Since you mentioned issues with the dimmer, ensure that the dimmer switch is set correctly. Adjust it to see if it affects the stereo's behavior. If adjusting the dimmer causes the radio to flash or behave unexpectedly, there may be a wiring issue or a faulty dimmer switch. Grounding: You mentioned grounding the Pink brake wire to the back of the radio. Make sure it's securely grounded. Also, check if there's any interference or loose connections near the ground point. Blue Screen (No Signal): A blue screen typically indicates that the stereo is not receiving a video signal. Here are some things to consider: Verify that the video source (e.g., DVD player, external device) is connected properly to the stereo. Check if the input source is set correctly on the stereo (e.g., DVD mode). Inspect the video cables for any damage or loose connections. Test the stereo with a different video source to see if the issue persists. Factory Reset: Some car stereos have a factory reset option. Refer to the user manual to perform a reset and see if it resolves the issue. Consult the Manual: If none of the above steps work, consult the X DVD 276BT manual for specific troubleshooting steps or contact their customer support.
