If you set it manually, do the following:

Well on the eclipse unit you just ground the wire for the parking brake

Parking brake wire can be grounded. If you need to turn the barking brake on and off, install a toggle switch in line with the ground.

Hook up your brake wire through a manual switch and switch on and off every time you turn your key on and off. Goodluck.

Take cover off look for dust in gears .

by default the anti-theft password is 0000.and is turned off.

use a "y" adaptor on the amplifier inputs instead of the headunit output. In other words run a single rca line from the headunit to the amplifier but connect to a one female into two male y adaptor before connecting to the amplifier

Usually the wire should be grounded. Connect the wire to a ground point via a switch (is illegal to watch TV/DVD while you're driving)

For the Anti-Theft Passcode if you forgot yours - Turn to player on. Make sure the screen is out. Press and HOLD the MUTE button. While holding the MUTE button, press and HOLD the POWER button. (Should be holding them both down at this time.) After about 12 seconds a new passcode screen should come up. Release the MUTE and POWER buttons. Type in 122164. Press OK. Your passcode is now reset to 0000.

For The E Brake Passcode - Put in a DVD. Wait until you hear the sounds of the DVD. Press STOP twice on your remote. Press 22604 on the remote. Press OK/ENTER on the remote.

if you have one of those plug that has a male plug (jack plug) then yea its going to say that. your only option with that is that you put your option on your screen on aux. then use your ipod manually. as if you just had ear phones on. but in that back of the unit you have to put it on aux. the white and red plug. 

try 1234 which should be the default

try simple code like 1234 this sould be the defualt

1 Ground the emergency brake wire,i use the radios black wire to ground it.

2 Insert an original DVD and let it play until you hear the sound.Copied DVDs will not work for this.

3 Press the STOP button TWICE with the remote.

4 Using the remote enter 26604 and press enter.If done correctly you should hear it beep and the video will be viewable.
