Maytag EPIC MFW9700S Front Load Washer - Page 4 Questions & Answers
I have no power in the unit, I have tested the outlet and it is fine, Is there a rest?
Are you getting the proper voltage from the outlet to the machine i.e. 120 or 240?
If so, then next step would be to check if the power is actually going though the filter to the control board (its a little box on the top side of most machines).
After the filter is the controls AND drain pump.
If you can check all that stuff (removing the top, and being CAREFUL while testing power) might get to fixing something today ^_^
May tag front loader has loose screws behind doors
Did this problem recently start is the model number I am reading correct MFW9700 front loaders are hard to unbalance due to the fact the control will stop the spin and reverse direction in an effort to redistribute the load on a concrete floor which is smooth the high RPM's in spin will cause it to walk I have seen more broken counter weights than a broken shock this will definitely cause it to shake like crazy again my thought process is that the machine has previously worked in the same location
Won't change cycles
u can go on line to appliancepartspro.com and get the item but it is not going to be cheap.
Model MFW9800TQ0 Frontload washer has draining issue F02 error
Thanks jworley60!!! Saved me a service call. I have a 9700 with the same issues and that filter had many interesting things in it (including four 1 dollar bills and one of those 3-in-1 washing sheets). One note, the panel is on the front and the screws are at the very bottom of the washer. If you do not have it on a pedastal, you may need to block it up a little to get to the one in the middle.
