Adjusted mag mount antenna w/a swr meter. When checked it w/the meter on the '06 uniden pc78 elite, ch 40 was a lot higher. Which is correct ?
The coax jumpers between the meter and the radio can change the SWR a little bit. It is very unlikely the the antenna can be that low on 1 and 40. Set it for the lowest on 20 via the radio and as long as you are under a 2 on 1 and 40 then it should be OK.

I have a Uniden UHF CB Handheld Model # UH076SX-NB. Have had it for 3 years and only used a dozen times. Now I can receive but unable to transmit. Any solutions please?
How do you know that the radio does not transmit? The batteries need to be fully charged, or new to transmit. The radio is old, and the cost to repair it may be close to how much a new CB radio is. Good luck.

New gmr 3055-2ck work fine just charming indictater on charge won't stop have charged twenty-four hours lights still flash
Make certain you are charging with the radio OFF. If on, the radio will use a small amount of energy and the charger will not know the battery is fully charged. If you intend to leave it on the charger, ON as in standby, then the lights will always flash. I would put a timer on the wall adapter so the battery is not always being charged. A battery always being charged will not last long, likely get hot and may cause problems. These are light duty radios, not designed for 24 hour if even daily use.

How to wire a 4 pin ProComm microphone to work on a 5 pin microphone for a Uniden Grant XL
The simplest way is to order a microphone adapter from ebay or a reputable CB shop. I have all my mics wired for standard 4 pin cobra. The standard 4 pin cobra is the most common and if you keep adapters handy then you can use all different kinds of mics on different radios.

I've got a Uniden UH-011 UHF Radio that powers on for a few minutes and works fine for a few minutes then goes dead. Anybody got any suggestions to fix the problem?
Mobile radios usually don't do this. BUT! If it is using a power supply to make 12 volt power, that is suspect. Power supplies can become intermittent. Perhaps you do not have enough amperage. The short answer is not enough power in your configuration. Post how it is powered for more advise. Let us know! J
