I have the VM9312 and my screen keep going in and out, and it wont stop I cant even go back into the setup to try fixing it. What can or should I do

You can try the procedure for the VM9311TS model (the one I have) - I don't know if it'll work but it's worth trying. Put in a DVD, and let it start playing. Then hit STOP on the remote twice, and enter the code 1264. If you were able to see the actual movie at this point, you'd see a menu pop up. Push down twice, then ENTER. At this point the blue screen should clear and you should see the movie itself. You'll have other options on that menu, like a macrovision option to allow you to see burned DVDs. Set what you like, then on the remote, hit SYS SETUP twice to lock in your choices.

Try this (this is the procedure for the 9311TS model, which I have, and it should be the same for yours too) - put in a regular movie, and do what you need to do in order to be able to watch the movie (cycle the e-brake handle, toggle a switch - however you have it set up). When the movie comes on, using the remote, hit STOP twice, then type in 1264, and a hidden menu will appear. This menu has the macrovision toggle - turn that on. While you're in there, you can also disable the parking brake bypass (turn the bypass on - no more e-brake handle or toggle switch!). Then hit the SYS SETUP button on the remote twice to save the choices you made, and you should be able to watch the burned movie then. You'll also find that it's nice to be able to just stick a DVD in and have it start playing.

just go to the source screen, hit setup, then hit 5,4,3,2,1,0 on the remote control and a screen will come up. touch the hammer and screwdriver button on the left and it will have a thing called parking brake bypass and set it to on and click the x, this way it doesnt matter if u have the pink wire attached to anything.

With RCA cables. Just plug into the preamp outputs on the back that are labeled for "subwoofer" and run them to your amp. In your on-screen EQ, you'll have a separate adjustment for the sub (which adjusts that set of preouts, without affecting the tone in the rest of the speakers).

If you have already done a recalibration on it, and it's still not working, I'm thinking the touch interface is hosed a little more than you can handle on your own - it may have to be sent out to be repaired. It seems like that right-side portion of the touch panel is just plain worn out. I don't really know of any other way to try and bring it back - you might contact a Jensen dealer and ask if there are any product recalls for such defects though - if this has happened on a large number of the head units, they may issue a recall or at least partial reimbursement for the cost of repair. At this point though, a service dealer will be your best bet.

Nope - the 9412 is capable of playback from only one source at a time.

Any Radio will work with Sirius if you use the FM feature and tune your radio to 107.1

disconect the blue wire from the wireing harness and conect it with the blue with white u will not need the all blue wire

I just hooked the pink wire directly to the same ground spot as the head unit and it works fine

This will never work, the new ipods will only work with apple products. I've had numerous headaches with this and after many phonecalls to manufacturers I discovered that the new ipods will only play video if they see an apple authentication chip embedded inside the video cable. Sorry.

The new ipod will not work with anything other than 2008 alpine products. Apple embedded a chip in the actual cable that tells the ipod that it's ok to pay. What you need is an authentic apple video cable that can only be purchased at the apple store...then hook the inputs up to the video input on the radio.

you must press the menu button on the remote control

only certain cds have the track info on them. most cds will just come up as a track listing. some cd manufacturers put the track info on at production but most do not. try to burn a cd and label
all of the tracks as well as name the cd. if it does not show the names then something else might be up.
