On my touch screen came out the view video while

unhook your E-Brake wire and do the following:(2 options depending on DVD Unit)

If you have the old firmware then all you need to do is ground the parking brake wire
OR
if you have the new firmware(just bought the system) a toggle switch is involved:
1 - connect e-brake wire from dvd unit to the switch
2 - connect a ground wire from switch to the unit chassis(any good metal grounding surface will do)
3 - pop in a dvd, toggle the switch back and forth 2 or 3 times depending on what wire you placed where...and voilaa!! your dvd system should work in motion!!

What does the green/white wire connect to on my

Rear View Camera Input: The VM9313 features a composite video input and a green/white wire lead attached to the harness for connection of a rear view camera. If a rear-view video camera is connected, the unit is on, and the TFT monitor is retracted inside the unit, the TFT monitor automatically moves into the viewing position and Camera modes is selected upon shifting into Reverse gear. When shifting into Drive gear, the TFT monitor is retracted back inside the unit. If the monitor is already in a viewing position and in display mode, the monitor automatically switches to Camera mode upon shifting into Reverse. When the reverse driving stops, the monitor returns to its original input display mode. You can choose for the monitor to display a Mirror mode image or a Normal mode image from the rear-view camera.

Ipod video problems

I have the Jensen head unit. I found out a while ago that the 6th Gen Ipod Classic does not send video through the multi-pin connection. Only out of the headphone/A/V out. This is the reason it does not work via the JLink cable into the Jensen VM9312

Subwoofer not working

Try front or rear output and see if you're getting sound, if not the external output chip is fried, common issue with these.

Jensen vw9312 wont play ipod video

This unit does not have iPod video capabilities only audio, If you want to view video from your iPod you can get a universal cable that would charge it and also give you a audio and video output, this cable needs to be powered and grounded and hooked up to one of the radio audio video inputs. This link will take you to it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ALPINE-JVC-PIONEER-SONY-Aux-Input-Cable-for-IPOD-VIDEO_W0QQitemZ370164615429QQcmdZViewItemQQptZOther_MP3_Player_Accessories?hash=item562f87c905&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:3|65:15|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:100

I installed a new head unit ,amp,speakers,10

Take the car to Pepboys and have the codes read, they will tell you what your problem is and get you the parts to fix it yourself or they will do it for you, don't keep fixing untill you find out what it's not. Most likely it's your alternator or bad ground.

I want to play dvds while listening to the radio

You've got the wrong player, this does not support dual feature, you'll need a Panasonic or Pioneer line that has those features.

Sound to radio but no sound to cds or dvds

I dont know what car you've got but,You need to hook up the blue amp remote wire for the antenna, when you switch to radio the antenna signal turns your car amplifier on and you get audio and when you switch to cd/dvd it switches it off because your car is wired that way, its a common issue with Mercedes etc.
