Cannot use keys on keyboard to enter addresses or searches. Cannot enter password on my user log on.Computer has two users. User without password also has no reaction to key entries. For instance when clicking on Google search bar,I get the intermittend flashing vertical bar inside the search bar, but when I start typing nothing registers on screen. Also when using mouse cursor to click on a spot in the browser address bar, every thing is normal untill I press delete in order to be able to enter a new address. Nothing happens. My keyboard connector appears to be normal. I installed new batteries also in mouse. I tried many times to reset the connection by depressing the connection buttons on both mouse and keyboard. The mouse green LED light is on. Any suggestion on what to try will be very much appreciated. THX Andy.
just called Logitech support (who were more than helpful, very friendly, and picked up the phone within 5 minutes).
I have an MX3000 laser combo set and the receiver lost connection to the mouse last week. Then the keyboard went out a few nights ago. I had tried what everyone else here had tried to no avail.
So I decided to give a tech support line the benefit of the doubt and call one...
I'm very glad I did!
Here is the entire process for the Left Ctrl + Left Alt + F12 keys. First, when you hit these keys together, a box should pop up on screen to prompt you to reset the encryption sequence. That is what these keys are for. If nothing pops up on your screen (as was my case!), wait a few minutes for the button sequenece to time out, then hit these keys again. Make sure its L-Ctrl + L-Alt + F12 only. Within 2 seconds after that button combo, hit connect on the receiver. Within 2 seconds of that hit connect on the underside of the keyboard. Within 2 seconds of that, hit your Escape key on the keyboard. Sounds completely ridiculous, but this is the direction Logitech support drove me in. And it worked for me. And this is after I tried everything imaginable for over the past week.
We then moved on to the mouse, which i thought we had fixed. But now i have one working and one not working, so I think I need to re-run through this whole process to fix the second mouse. Basically, I now have 1 mouse that works on both receivers, on 2 different pc's with 2 different keyboards in two different rooms (both sets are MX3000 however).
The other now seems to have lost the signal. Will update if I get that second mouse to play nicely with me.
Hope this helps anyone about to trash a perfectly good unit like I was!

The keyboard is cordless. It quit. I thought it needed new batteries. We put in new ones, held the buttons down on the part that is plugged into electricity, the one on the bottom of the key board and the one on the mouse.
The mouse works, but the keyboard still doesn't. We have double checked the batteries, they are okay.
You don't need to install any software updates. Just do the following:
[Ctrl]-[Alt]-[F12] (must use the left [Ctrl]-[Alt] keys, not the right)
Push the Connect button beneath the keyboard, then the Connect button on the USB Receiver, then the [Esc] key on the keyboard.
This will unlock the security encryption on the keyboard. You may need to reconnect the mouse afterward too.

Hold down FN and F10 which says set in blue. This allows you to reset the clock.

I lost the mini-receiver. How can I obtain another one?
I called the Logitech Consumer Sales Department at:
1 800-231-7717
Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 6:00pm
The receiver is $10, plus $5.95 shipping, and it is supposed to be delivered in 10-12 days.
Hope this helps.

Please help me find the scroll lock button so I can shut it OFF on a MX 3200 Logitech
you will have to use the Function key, and look at the pause - break button you see that small icon there, that combined with the function key is scroll lock.
so press the FN key and pause break.

Batteries are fine. Was using the keyboard and mouse as usual for hours when I struck several keys at once, not remembering what exactly they were because I was typing very quickly and I think one was a function key, possibly F4 along with shift, maybe control keys, and then had no function of any keys. As though I locked the whole keyboard up. Don't know how to unlock it and now have to use an old keyboard.
Model Logitech MX 3200.
Please help. Can't find anything in manual about this.
Thanks - Gwen ([email protected])
Try this, simply uninstall the SetPoint program. Run Registry Mechanic to clean up left over files. Turn off your computer, remove the mini receiver, mouse and keyboard. Start up your computer. Connect your mouse and Keyboard. Let Windows find your mouse and keyboard. Check hardware device manager. You can also do another step of syncing the keyboard and mouse with the mini receiver. Check hardware device manager. Again. They should both be there. Insert the software cd that came with your keyboard and mouse. When asked to install keyboard, mouse or both, click keyboard. Your mouse should already be working. Follow all the directions to encrypt your keyboard so that the keyboard strokes will not be picked up. When you type in the code, your keyboard should be able to do this. Restart your computer. This is just another option. I tried all the other ones, and nothing worked. Had to let Windows find the keyboard and mouse first, then install the program. Been at it for four hours. Happy this is over:) Hope this helps some folks out there, I know how frustrating it can be, I just bought this darned thing!!

How do I activate the "Print Screen" keystroke?
The print screen is for a screen shot lol you press PRINT SCREEN then go to paint and press CTRL V and it has a screen shot of your desktop and you could probably print that out but that's what it's for

my logitech (DiNovo) wireless keyboard won't type. i think i accidentally hit a few wrong keys. how do you fix it?
go to logitech support, download setpoint software and follow instructions on setting secure connection. i just did it with mine and keyboard got fixed. your symptoms should be that the qwerty keys dont work but the multimedia, clock and function keys are working. the setpoint software will take care of that.
