EZ Audio Converter does not export files to iTunes
I've had exactly the same problem, and so far no resolution from Ion. A small bit of good news: the .wav files are on the hard drive, although without any track info. At least on Vista, they are in username/AppData/Local/Temp. The files are name Temp0, Temp1, Temp 2, ...
You can use iTunes to add these files (File/add file) and then convert them to .mp3s, or whatever format you prefer. Or you could convert them first using the tool of your choice, such as Audiograbber.
This is inconvenient, but a lot better than re-ripping the vinyl after EZVinyl hangs.

Power light and inconsistent speed
Ya, it does sound like a power issue. Unfortunately, for the cost of this model, it might not be worth getting repaired, although I am a big fan of recycling (let's reduce our waste!).
As a service tech, I am forced to tell you that the cost of the repair will be around the $80 range, near the cost of this unit. Also, Numark does not provide much support for this unit. Parts are very hard to obtain from them, wait time is anywhere from 8-12 weeks. So, it's a matter of deciding what you want to do. Here are your options:
1) Spend the $80 or so (might be cheaper in your area - i'm in NYC) to get it fixed
2) Sell it to someone, tell them of the problem. Or better yet, give it to someone, and the cost of repairing the unit will be enough for them to have bought the unit.
3) Turn in to an elaborate paper weight!
But please don't just toss it out. If anything, please drop it off at a plastic recycling plant. Lots of plastic in this thing!

My numark 5000fx lights up when turned on but does not register my technics on any of the channels
If your Numark 5000FX mixer is not registering your Technics turntable on any of the channels, there are a few things you can try:
- Check your cables: Make sure that your RCA cables are plugged in correctly and securely. If you are using a phono preamp, make sure that it is powered on and connected properly.
- Check your switch settings: Make sure that the switches on the back of the mixer are set correctly for the type of input you are using (line or phono).
- Check your levels: Make sure that the input levels are turned up and that the fader for the channel you are using is not muted or turned all the way down.
- Check your ground wire: If you are using a turntable, make sure that the ground wire is connected properly to the mixer.
If none of these steps work, there may be an issue with either the turntable or the mixer. Try testing the turntable on a different mixer or testing a different turntable on the Numark mixer to determine which component is causing the issue. If the mixer is the issue, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
